Writing for "Shattered Kingdom" · 12:38am Oct 3rd, 2014
As the title implies, I was accepted as a writer on the "Shattered Kingdom" game project! This is very exciting for me as I not only get to work alongside fantastic individuals, but I also get to do something I've wanted to do for most of my life: work on a game. Though I've done plenty with world and level design when modding for games, I always felt that writing could be another skill I could use in the design of games. I'm glad to finally have that chance.
Now, what does this mean for my stories? Well, I have a couple in the works right now, but I'll holding off on those for a bit while I get situated in my new position. I hope I can get a story out for Halloween, and then another out for the holidays, but I can't promise anything on that. I'll go ahead and say that the one I'm hoping to have out for Halloween is "Never Stop Smiling", which is a story I've completed several times and then completely scrapped. I finally think I know what I want to do with it, it's just a matter of writing it. The other one will be a sequel to "One Hearth's Warming Eve", that follows Pinkie directly after the events of the first story. It wasn't something I was going to do, but I had a few people request a sequel, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
As said, both of these are not guaranteed to be out by the times I'm hoping for(you know me and dates), but, as of right now, that's what I'm shooting for.
