Two announcements. One you'll probably care about more than the other for those who still check these.
First off, in regards to a contest for the website, "Chilling Tales For Dark Nights" approximately two months ago, I bring good news! For those who care anyway, but I won! My shitty little story won! And after waiting for another month, I got a reading of the very story that I entered.

As for the other thing I do... Sweetie's Mansion, Chapter 23 is complete and will be coming out this weekend. No exceptions. I'm working on it myself as well as with my incredibly busy and patient editor, Mac349. But it is complete, and one way or the other, it will be out this weekend. And I promise you, for as dead as I've been, it's length will not disappoint.

First off, glad to see you're back.
2nd...maybe you shouldn't make another chapter that's more than 20K words? If only to make it easier for your and your editor.

I can't promise doing a planned chapter in under 20K words. HOWEVER. I have a plan to combat that. Instead, I'll do almost little mini chapters that will end in merging with the main chapter. In other words, if I do what I want, you might get 2000-7000 word chapters to kind of slowly feed the ultimate chapter. Just so I can keep the story flowing and keep you guys entertained

2465061 As someone who helps do some pre/post-editing for a story that usually has at least 10-11K words per chapter, IMO keeping them under 10K is probably best both for storytelling and for editing purposes.
Not that I'd overly complain if particularly climatic chapters had closer to 20K+ words (because sometimes you can't exactly split those things up without losing a good amount of tension or pacing or somesuch in the process), though.

I'd personally split the Bulter battle up into a separate chapter, honestly, btw.
2465173 I'll take that into consideration. To be fair though, I think we all know that's the chapter that needs the heaviest amount of edits.
2465213 I wasn't planning on it. My story plan for Sweetie's Mansion is pretty much all of my knowledge of MLP, which is only up to the beginning of Season 3.
I can't wait for the next chapter of Sweetie's Mansion!
By the way, I'm planning to write a Luigi's Mansion crossover of my own, and before you ask, I'll try not to copy anything you've already written and if I do, I'll change it. Besides, Sweetie Belle won't be the main character in my story.

Good to see Sweetie's Mansion moving along again, after all this time. Hope we see a lot more of it in the future, honestly. The whole cutie mark thing with SB could be really sick in transition to something that theoretically should be the finale, whether it be that she wields the powers of the Elements or just uses the talents of the Six to seclude the princesses into defeat. Definitely awaiting what I can see as the the last arc of the story.
Also, it's good to see you back and going at it again.
