A list of things I want to see in Persona 5 · 4:47pm Sep 17th, 2014
With Persona 5 coming out next year, this is my personal wishlist of stuff I'd like to see:
1. Alternate costumes right out of the gate. Don't make ALL the alternate costumes DLC. Give us some in the original, as-pressed build of the game.
2. Both male and female protagonists, with respective differences in the storyline. This could be done either as part of the game's initial build, or as DLC. I don't really care which. I just want it. Because I love playing the female protagonist in P3P.
3. The return of separate types of physical attack. P3 had Slash, Strike, and Pierce. P4 reduced it all to the blanket Physical. Let's get back what P3 had, yeah?
4. DLC Personas, including some licensed gods and monsters. For example, I'd love to see Gojira as a Persona. (Judgment Arcana, of course.)
5. DLC alternate costumes, so long as not all the costumes are DLC.
6. Characters and/or their Personas from P3 and P4 as DLC.
7. Megido skills actually being useful. Even Megidolaon kinda sucks in P3/P4.
8. Better division of time-of-day for events/activities. For example, the ability to do two things on Sunday instead of just one; division of "Evening" into "Early Evening" and "Late Evening".
9. A storyline that actually covers an ENTIRE FRIGGIN YEAR FOR ONCE.
To be expected: winter uniform, spring uniform, weekday civvies, weekend civvies, and swimsuit. After P4 Golden? St. Hermelin, Seven Sisters, Gekkoukan, and Yasogami uniforms, Velvet Room outfits, kimonos, yukatas, Featherman costumes, formal wear, and costumes after each character's unique Persona. Downloadable sets that resemble DLC Personas, Temple Knights, Gaia Cultists, Black and Military Demonicas, Mikado Samurai, and DDS Embryon members.
I wouldn't even mind on-disc DLC for this, to account for the different story paths.
Also, either allow the MC to wield all weapon types, or return to the sword-and-gun style of mainline SMT and Persona 1 and 2.
After SMTIV's DLC-exclusive missions and demons, that's almost a given. And on the topic of these, I'd also like a DLC quest for high-experience/money yields.
See above. Although SMTIV had demon-style costumes (after Cu Chulainn, Siegfried, Yoshitsune, and other SMT heroes) in a non-DLC store, and at exorbitant prices, it also had DLC costumes that nobody ever used because the new demon designs they were based on were so gaudy :p
I'd settle for cameos or very minor roles, like the Persona 1 characters showing up in Persona 2.

I'd want to see returning characters, either as a cameo, or as secondary characters/mentors of the protaganist. I allso want bought armor tp appear on the player.
I want some of the P4 characters to show up as either cameo or playable characters.
9/10 prob going to be a sonic reference somewhere.
Well, if memory serves, to get alternate costumes in P4 and P3:FES, you had to do Margaret/V's tasks
2462133 Not the point. The point isn't the methods by which they're obtained (and incidentally, some of them could be purchased or found in chests), it's their inclusion at all. Persona 3 didn't have alternate costumes until FES, and Persona 4 didn't get them until Golden.

I would love to see this. Just the sheer number of jokes they could make with the stats/skills/weaknesses would be reason enough.
