I weep for my generation when I know people who have no idea what I'm talking about when I say Stairway to Heaven.

Missing dreams updated. A couple days later than I would have liked but it got done. A bit rough around the edges in one scene in particular, but I was tired of trying to revise it and I really needed it out. It got all the important information out, and for now that's all I can ask of it. I have been thinking of the first five our so chapters for months, and finally getting to write them is so much fun. After I'm done with this blog I'm going to go start the third.
I'm liking these 6K word chapters though. Nice and long, and I get a serious feeling of progress from all of them, without going on and on and boring my readers or taking up too much time. I'm hoping to keep that word count up, and if the story continued to progress at its current pace, it will smash through Cheated Dreams' 71K word count and, if I'm crazy enough, will break 100K words and be by far the longest single fic I have ever written. I bet you guys would like that.
Actually, speaking of you guys, what's up with you? Missing Dreams has literally have the favorites of Cheated Dreams. I knew Missing Dreams wasn't going to be very popular compared to my one shots; it's an adventure fic and requires a lot of dedication from my readers, but I figured I'd at least get almost all of the Cheated dreams people in on it. I did everything I could to get their attention to; blog posts, tagging MD as a sequel, and even posting a chapter update on CD (Even if it's technically against site rules - I did promise everyone a sequel and wanted to be sure they all knew about it). Have you all just lost interest in the series? I get that, but really? Over 100 of you just don't care about the sequel? I find that a bit hard to believe.
But I digress; all I can do is keep writing and hope some people will slowly filter over. I'm sure a lot of people just have MD in their read later list and are either waiting for a chance to read it or waiting till it's finished - I know some people who like to do that.
Imposter... I don't wanna talk about it.
Everything else.... blegh. I'm on a Missing Dreams kick and there ain't nothin' y'all can do 'bout it!... hmmm... I appear to be channeling my inner Applejack tonight.... God damn I hate typing that mare's accent. I can't go too heavy on it; her accent isn't that thick and a lot of people do get annoyed at it - including myself - but at the same time I know I need to add some things to distinguish her speech pattern for characterization purposes. It's a difficult balance, which is why most of my stories don't have AJ in them at all.
Hopefully the next Missing Dreams shouldn't take long; 6K words is looking smaller and smaller the better I get at writing.
Personal update time!
It hasn't even been two weeks of school and I've already had two essays.... ugh. I got the first one back today, got the top score in my class doing the hardest style (creative) on the hardest piece to respond to (in this case, it was the picture). I'm also a really harsh on myself; I was figuring I'd get a really low mark on it.My other essay I just wrote today and it was about the French revolution. Of all the topics I wasn't looking forward to repeating (Social is one of the classes I failed last year) the french revolution was really high on that list. it's just so bland! Yeah sure, 800 people were killed in a month, but aside from that it's jsut.... I know everything I will ever need to know about the french revolution just by knowing what year it was in! I mean Jesus, when will I ever need to tell someone the revolution started on the 14th of July with the storming of the Bastille. (The L's are silent you none-french/Canadian people. My teacher threw the best temper tantrum I've ever seen form a teacher when someone pronounced it wrong). Seriously, all saying that does is make me sound like I'm gloating about all the crap I know, when in reality it's just useless shit no one really gives a damn about. I mean maybe if I was french, but come on! I get knowing our history, but I don't need to know that King Louis XVI was 15 when he became king, married his wife (Who's name I will never be able to spell) after knowing her for two days, and didn't consummate the marriage for 7 years because of a medical condition that made arousal extremely painful.
*Sigh* I'm turning into a fucking encyclopedia.
