Normally, I don't tend to share story ideas, because then I fear if I never do them, I let you all down in case you REALLY want to read one. But here, I'm going to talk about some ideas that I have. So, I won't make promises, but I will do my best to at least get them off the ground, you know?

Now, a couple of them are based on movies. XDDD Basically, a retelling in some ways. But I will try to add my own spin to things, you know?

Okay, so! Here's some ideas I have!

Titles and some summaries!

Fly Away Home

Fluttershy, now living on a farm near Whitetail Woods to have wider space for her animals, one day discovers a little of goose eggs. Abandoned, with no mother goose. She takes them home with her, and hatches them. As it comes to be, they think that she is their mother and follow her everywhere. Her friends help where they can, but it's when Twilight tells her that they have to not only learn to fly, but also have to fly south during the winter. But without their mother's guidance to the place they fly, they will never find their way to or from their southern destination. Fluttershy, not willing to put her little charges through danger, decides it is up to her to train them. She enlists Rainbow Dash to help her teach them to fly, to which they take to doing together. It isn't long before the two map out a route to fly the geese south. Rainbow Dash will lead, Fluttershy following her, with the geese following her. With their friends following in the hot air balloon, the two Pegasi make a journey to fly all the way south, to lead the geese, so that in turn, they will find their way home.

I love this movie, I have for many years. So, aside from some core changes here and there, the storyline will essentially be something of the same. :D Shipping? Weeeelll....considering that Rainbow and Fluttershy spend a lot of time together in this story and work together as a team, I think this adventure will lead a few things to change between them in the end. OwO

Signs

Okay, before you all start jumping on me, let me explain myself. I love this movie. I really do. It's one of my all-time favourite movies, and I am not ashamed to admit that. So please, before you start judging me, PLEASE listen.

Rainbow Dash is trying to come to terms with Fluttershy's recent, tragic death, and is now a single mother/big sister to Scootaloo. She now lives with her friend, Derpy, and her daughter, Dinky, on their farm in the outskirts of Ponyville. Until she can get back on her hooves. However, strange occurences begin to conspire shortly after they find a five-hundred-foot crop circle out in the corn field in their backyard.

So yes, some elements from the movie will happen here, but I'll try to, again, add my own spin to it. It will be a lot more sad, but I've been dying to do this for a long time. So now, I can give it a shot. :D

"You're Rainbow Dash. The kind of Pegasus somepony like me could only ever dream of being like. You've embodied everything I've ever wanted to be. Strong, ambitious, confident, and never afraid to back down. What happened to you in the past few months...I never want to see you go through that again. You've become like an older sister to me, just as you did to Scootaloo. Don't ever do this to me, or to her again."~Derpy

This will also have Derpy REALLY shine. :D So I hope you'll enjoy that too.

Perfect On Paper

Rainbow Dash meets and befriends a Pegasus pony named Blazing Comet, and she is just like Rainbow Dash. Daring, fast, confident, and tons of fun. They soon start to date, and they seem to be a picture-perfect couple. Meanwhile, Fluttershy, in love with Rainbow Dash, is despaired of this and now has come to believe she will never be good enough for her. Only strong, fast, daring Pegasi who can keep up with her are worthy. However, sometimes, what can be perfect on paper....may not exactly be perfect in the long run.

This ties into my theory about why Rainbow Dash chose Tank as her pet. Not just because he crossed the finish line with her, but because she came to see that he is the most loyal and wonderful pet she could ask for. When before, she wanted a pet fast and cool who can keep up with her. Tank can't. She and Tank have little in common, but she doesn't care, she adores him anyway. Any of the other pets may have been perfect on paper, but it was Tank who proved himself truly worthy in the best way possible.

Now, I'm tying that into here. Rainbow Dash meets another pony who is just like her and can keep up with her. That seems perfect, right? But when she realizes that they're just not right for each other, not romantically, she comes to see that this isn't what a relationship is. ...And that Fluttershy, despite being different from her, is no doubt the perfect pony for her. So that mirrors it and seems to be fairly possible!

Now, another thing. I think you're all wondering what I'm going to do to make us hate Blazing Comet. Well, I'm not. She's just going to be a normal pony who is much like Rainbow Dash, and is very nice. I'm also not going to try to make her bland and boring, either. I'm not going to make her a jerk or anything like that, not at all. Just that she and Rainbow come to see they're not romantically compatible. Plain and simple!

And there's no cheating, either. Yes, Rainbow Dash falls in love with Fluttershy while still with Blazing Comet (even if she doesn't quite know it), but she doesn't cross any lines.

Lifeguard

Human. Francesca Solange (Fluttershy) is saved from drowning at the beach by an old friend she hadn't seen in years, Rebecca Denver (Rainbow Dash), the two reconnect and become friends once again. However, as times goes on, it soon transpires into a steamy summer romance.

Yes, I know I could easily do this story with them as a ponies, but I wanted to play around with them being human, and to go with a simple story for it. :3

And finally....

Arduous Event

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are getting married! With the big event soon coming as two of the Elements of Harmony will soon be united...Twilight Sparkle notices something very strange ahoof, especially in Rainbow Dash's behaviour. She can see something's not right. Will anypony believe her?

Yes, it's something of a retelling of the Canterlot Royal Wedding, but there's A LOT MORE to it, though. You'll see! I don't want to spoil anything for you.

But I did make a rendition of "This Day Aria". ;)
