Twilight floated a second fritter up to her mouth when she realized the first was gone. “What is in these things?” “Mostly love. Love ‘n about three sticks of butter.”

Blast from the Past: Now 100% Less Likely to Get Me In Trouble

Hey, some of you guys remember that thing I did a long time ago, where I wrote up 50 questions about headcanon and suggested people answer them on their blogs, and then, like, everyone on the site wanted to do it, and then the site mods sent me nice but stern messages suggesting I cut that shit out because it was spamming people's feeds?

    Full Circle

Wanderer D posted a touching retrospective of his time in fandom, and that made me remember the very first I ever heard of the show.

(Potential implied spoilers but maybe not? below.)

It's a bit late for this, so I'll make it fast: · 7:23pm Sep 12th, 2014

I'm going to try to do the Writeoff Association's Short Story Writeoff this weekend. The prompt is "There is Magic in Everything," and the goal is to write a 2000-8000 word short story. Then it will be submitted and published anonymously on the Writeoff Association site, where next week people will vote on all the stories. I'll be sure to let you know if Trixie lets me write this story (she's trying to veto this blog post, right now.) And, of course, I'll post it after the contest if she did.

If anyone reading this is interested in joining, jump in!

I'm not feeling the whole 'writing' scene right now.

It sounds interesting, If I weren't so busy writing two other stories I'd totally give it a shot.

There's always next time I suppose.

Y'all smell that? Ah snap, it smells like a fic about Earth pony magic up in this crib!

I counter-veto Trixie, and if she doesn't agree, I'll give her sanctions, limiting her economic produce.

That's how politics works, right?

It has prizes in the form of Magic cards. Get it? Because the prompt is about magic and Magic can pervade all manner I things I will shut up now.

First place gets a Khans of Tarkir fetch land.

Hm. You know, I started out thinking it was an impossible task for me but I think I can make it work.

That's it Trixie! Fight authority! Or, wait, does that count as censorship? In which case, stop that Trixie! No censoring people!
