This has been coming for a while now, and I'm sure everyone has already assumed this of me. It's not like I've really written anything in the past few months, and what I have written wasn't even close to being acceptable for publishing.
So yeah, I'm officially declaring my writing "on hiatus" until further notice. I've really just entirely lost the willpower to write, and even though I have ideas, writing is such a chore to me. It's at the point where I'd rather do anything else instead of writing, like art or video editing. Sorry if this comes as a disappointment to anyone.
It's just my writing, though. I'll still be active in the community and maintaining my website. I do have a commission or two that's been paid for already, but if I find that I really can't bring myself to work on those, I will be refunding them. Hopefully it doesn't come to that point, but I can't say for sure.
Sucks to not be able to do the one thing you're kinda good at.
You don't give yourself enough credit. I can think of few other people in the fandom who throw themselves into quite so much stuff as you do, and that fact alone is pretty admirable. And that's on top of your artwork, and your website design, and your mouse mat business,
and the fact I'm still convinced that you're actually Nic Cage in disguiseetc.I'm sure your writing spark will come back eventually. But in the meantime, don't forget that despite what you tell yourself, there's plenty of other stuff that you're very talented at
It happens dude. Follow your muse and it might eventually bring you back to writing, but even if it doesn't you shouldn't force yourself to write just for the sake of writing.
In short, chill and do what feels right.
Well, if anything, there's more time to devote to your website and mousepadsie thingies, and art stuffs, and, and, and whatever else the hell you do.
