I was actually thinking of writing a fanfic of the episode in Rainbow Dash's perspective (no, not in first person! XD), just to really dig deep into what she's thinking about it all and play around with it a bit. YES, I know, it will technically be a novelization of the episode, but I'll be adding some things in between, you know? And even maybe a little ending bit of what happens after the episode's over. YES, I know I already kind of did that, but I'll be doing it differently here, since it won't be connected. XD
So, even if I would be tempted to add shipping to it (hee hee XD), I won't do that. But there will be little hints because let's face it, they are so full of hints! :D XDDD It will be focused on their close friendship, of course. Just a way to show they get closer all the time. <3
All right, so what are your thoughts on it?

That sounds like it could be interesting, the episode concentrated more on Fluttershy's perspective so it would be nice to see it from Dash's side.

Yep, that's pretty much it! The episode was focused on Fluttershy, and of course, that's all well and good. But I did want to bring in Dashie's perspective on things.
i think it would be a great idea to see it in her perspective so go ahead and do it, but i think it would make a rather nice shipping though but you are the writer, you write your's and i will write mine

That sounds awesome, there's plenty of stuff you can add in there, too. Because it's a 22 minute episode, they skip around a lot if you actually look at the episode. Unaccounted time between the hurricane duty announcement and the first training day? Lots, a whole day practically. That's just one example (i was going to do others but am too lazy), but since the episode focuses primarily on Fluttershy, there's a lot of huge time frames where Rainbow could be doing/thinking anything.
This is gonna be so awesome.

LOL! XD The last one is now my desktop background! And I agree, Dashie looks so adorable the way she's pouting. XD It's so adorable that she actually carries that photo around! Aww! And no worry, I can't help but agree! XD That whole thing there is practically as if they went on a date! Rainbow Dash actually willing to spend time with Fluttershy, despite that it's not something she's enjoying. After all, she doesn't HAVE to go! She clearly went just to spend time with her! Now okay, you don't need to be in love with somepony to do that, of course. But...it does take a special kind of friend.
And that totally was a date!
And it doesn't help that her line of vision is focused on OTHER butterflies...

I think it should be practically considered canon that Flutters and Dashie are the closest of the Mane 6. Not that that should make them superior in some way, just you know, they really are the closest friends in the group, in my opinion. They grew up together, they've had episodes practically dedicated to shipping them, and they compliment each others' personalities perfectly. They've pulled off some awesome teamwork, cared for each other, and they always think of each other first. Take cider season, of all ponies, Dash specifically came to get Fluttershy that first morning. Clearly, they're really special friends to each other (I mean special literally, I'm not trying to directly imply romantic interest). I have someone like that, he's awesome. Not as perfect as FlutterDash though.

But somepony else pointed that out to me. XD I looked it over, and it's true. She definitely is! 
Anyway, you are absolutely right! They are by far the closest friends of he main 6, and just about every moment they share together really comes to showcase that. In it that they are the most comfortable around each other, even to the point of more physical contact than I'd ever seen between one of them and anypony else. Their personalities mesh beautifully, they care about each other, always think of one another first and foremost a lot of the time! That's so true! And yeah, even though I covered the cider season thingy, it still totally stands! Of all their friends, of all ponies, she goes to Fluttershy first. Even though she clearly has no reason to do that! (And I don't recall Fluttershy ever covering herself in front of anypony else....)
They are just too good!
