Good news: Maternal Instinct Chapter 14 sent for editing. · 9:56pm Aug 29th, 2014
Everypony and everyling, and I am very much pleased to inform you all that Chapter 14 of Maternal Instinct is finally, and I mean FINALLY, written and being sent off for editing.
It's been a ridiculously long time, and for that I apologize, but my creative flow has been completely erratic. Some nights I was just staring at the Google Docs screen with the hope of just getting a paragraph or two typed. However, it should be pointed out that this is a LONG chapter, well over 9,000 words, so that does explain the longevity of its writing to a degree, though not completely.
I should also let you know that once this chapter is posted, that will leave, as things are presently planned, only two more much shorter chapters, with the last serving as an epilogue of sorts. So yes, Maternal Instinct is drawing to a close. I'm glad I've stuck with this story and persevered with it. Once it finishes, I will then be focusing all my attention on Citizen Weevil.
