I EXIST!
I apologize for disappearing for a few weeks after ETC finished. That wasn't the plan, but I realized that my priorities were a bit screwed up and had to re-adjust my life a bit.
To summarize, I am currently unemployed after finishing a contract position with one of the biggest companies in the world. After ETC ended, I realized that I had to devote myself a little more to to the job search, so I decided to take a break from writing and fimfiction in general to focus. It's proved quite successful, actually... with a new resume, new website, and a lot of networking done, I'm finally staring to hear back from companies. While nothing is set in stone yet, the fact is I'm doing much better on the "Finding a Job" front than I was a few weeks ago.
So I'm back to the writing game, and I've decided to take a different approach for my next story. This is a relatively new idea I had, and it's certainly more... how to put this... "experimental" than other stories I've written, but it's an idea I'm excited for. I won't go into much detail now, but I have a lot of writing to do regarding it. Instead I'll just start with a little hype at the end of this blog like I usually do.
Also, expect some blog posts next week non-pony related. Why? BECAUSE IT'S THE PENNY ARCADE EXPO THIS COMING WEEKEND! I have been waiting for months, and now it's FINALLY here. This year, I think the highlight is going to be meeting Alexey Pajitnov... the man who invented Tetris. I might have him sign my face and then never wash it again because holy shit he INVENTED TETRIS. I'll be posting blogs of some of the games I see, along with links to footage I get and put on my youtube channel. Stay tuned!
Whales. Whales whales whales. Happy whales sad whales angry whales loving whales non-whales
Dude, you're going to PAX?! You lucky bastard!
Also, good to hear on the job hunt! Keep it up! If you need someone to help you look around, I'm happy to lend a hoof.
Whales? You should be a Gojira fan

Ironically, that's the only song of theirs that I enjoy. I'm just not into death metal, but I really like the 2 minute intro to the song, it's soothing.

Experimental writings are the best writings. Can't wait to see what you got hiding in your cranium.
