Letters arc complete and posting Monday with Chapter 10 of The Knight, The Fey Maiden, and the Bridge Troll too

I have up to Chapter 99 complete in Letters From a Little Princess Monster, which is a little embarrassing since I *started* the arc in the middle of Covid season. It could have graduated from several universities in that time. Rather than tease bits out of it like I have before, I'm just going to go straight into my daily publishing routine and let you catch up on where I am on The Knight, The

Sun will be down for maintenance on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience. --NASA

Here's a story by Estee you can read to take up the time until the Sun is all tuned up and returned to operation.

EA Total Eclipse Of The Fun
The second anniversary of the Return is approaching, and all Luna wants for the celebration is one thing -- something Equestria hasn't seen in more than a thousand years. This could be a problem.

    Big Leather Egg Sunday

A reminder (as John Cleese put it) that today is Big Leather Egg Sunday, and to celebrate, I'm linking the Best Football MLP story of all time by Kris Overstreet. Starring... Rarity?

    Goodbye Toby Keith, American Legend

Undoubtedly, if Toby Keith had ever done a tour in Equestria, Applejack would have been right there in the front row, whoopin' and a hollerin' as loud as possible. I think every high school in the US had a proud friendly guy like this, and we raise our red Solo cups in tribute to his last beer run. Salute!

New Year 2024- New Projects 1939

Still working on everything else this year, but I've got a sequel/prequel to Equestria: 1940 in the works, both a series of short stories set in the 1940 world up to the Equestrian moon project, and a war story showing some behind the scenes details about the war. For a little country the size of Ohio in the northern Atlantic, it has a lot of potential. Explosive, mostly. Snippets after the

Why are you here and not gorging on cake?

Heavenly Nostrils is such a great comic.

Marigold is Best Unicorn.

Amen.

Waiter! Double that order of amen, please!

This is how I imagine unicorn governance to work. I've used this in several of my stories (The Good of the Many, Renaissance Pony):

The Prince could tell that his view was fast losing favor with the assembly. If another influential pony expressed a contrary opinion he might not prevail! He quickly signaled to the Chamberlain to call the vote.

"We call all unicorns in this assembly to vote." Using telekinesis, he raised a large black and white ball into the air above his head. "I will now release the ballot. Vote now."

The ball rose and trembled as opposing wills tried to push the ball towards the basket that indicated 'Yea' at on end of the hall, or towards the other basket labelled 'Neigh' at the other end. As this was a close vote the ball seemed to vibrate first going slightly towards 'Yea' and then towards 'Neigh' and then back again. Finally, the momentum of the vote began to favor 'Neigh' and the ball travelled tentatively, and then with greater speed to land definitively in that basket.

Marigold speaks truth and the show backs her up. Even as an Alicorn Princess, Twilight Sparkle wasn't allowed to do any important government business. It has been demonstrated that she is a terrible dancer. Coincidence?

I love that comic. Marigold is like Rarity in a wingless Celestia's body.

Love this comic and the fact that the toy is a such an obvious Celestia expy. Heavenly Nostrils is just my kind of humor exactly.

Just a reminder of how universally FiM is expanding into all parts of popular culture on the Internet.

If freestyle dance is a vital part of gaining power as a unicorn, I don't hold out much hope for Twilight to be ever voted an official position beyond that appointed to her by magic itself! :twilightoops:

Blueblood heads the day-to-day affairs of the Quorum. Celestia and Luna only step in during matters of truly grave importance, like judging the dance competitions.
