A heads up about some important changes.

New readers, this first portion doesn't concern you just yet, so you can skip on down to the third paragraph.

It was recently brought to my attention by these charming gentlemen that Vortex's design was a little... lackluster, shall we say? To that effect, I've gone ahead and tweaked it a bit to make it a little less terrible, but it's still mostly the same. His colors are a little more pastel, and I got rid of that secondary stripe in favor of a larger stripe of a duller tone. I also never gave too much thought to his cutie mark when I introduced him, because I hadn't really planned for the story to take such a radical turn from what my initial outline had foretold. Far too late into the story I thought to myself: "His special talent is in using words to convince others, why the hell didn't I make his cutie mark a silver tongue?"

And so now it is. Old Vortex here for comparison.

It was also brought to my attention by a new reader, Plain, that Mach's father doesn't have a very... pony name, and I agree. I've always thought as much, but I wasn't sure if changing it late into the story was a good idea, so that's why I'm making this blog post. This way you won't be confused when you see a vastly different name popping up henceforth. From this point on, Immelmann will now be Silverbolt, and will be receiving a design change to reflect that.
