Season 5, Episode 7 is my New Favourite Episode [Citation Needed] · 7:37am Aug 15th, 2014

I know I'm kinda late to the party, but here's something that happened a few days back:

Most people are—probably rightfully—assuming that this is just M. A. Larson being silly and toying with our emotions. After all, how could an episode possibly incorporate a "princess pile" in any capacity? Seems pretty ludicrous and far-fetched, even for this show.
But… What if?
No, not, "What if there actually is a princess pile?" I'm fairly sure that's not ever gonna happen. But what if this isn't just M. A. Larson being M. A. Larson? What if he's actually trying to tell us something? Take a look at the picture again.
Look closely.
Look at who exactly the arrow is pointing to.
And that's how I decided this is gonna be the best episode ever.
I don't know if I've ever made my adoration for Cadance well-known, but she is right up there with Twilight and Rarity and Spike as one of my all-time favourite characters. Ever since A Canterlot Wedding, I've been praying that we would get a Cadance episode. A real one, where she's the star and no one else would be there to share the spotlight. I knew that was mostly a fantasy—that she would forever be relegated to the background, getting a line or two at best.
Then Three's a Crowd happened. And while I hoped hoped hoped that it would be the Cadance episode I wanted, it ultimately wasn't. She had a decent role and some fun moments, but it wasn't her episode. It was Discord and Twilight's episode. Still, the episode stirred the embers of my hope, and a small shred of me dared to believe that maybe one day we would get a Cadance episode. And my hopes were bolstered even further by her having a fair amount of screentime/character moments in both Equestria Games and Twilight's Kingdom.
And now I see this picture—this damn card autographed by the one show writer who loves to mess with us the most—and I can't get it out of my mind. A Cadance episode possibly written by M. A. Larson, the guy who wrote my favourite episode to date?
Be still, my beating heart.
Disclaimer: I know that I'm reading way too much into this and that the odds of actually getting a full-on Cadance episode are slim to none, but please let me dream. And I also know that if we do get a Cadance episode, 90% of fans will probably be disappointed and call it a waste of an episode or something. I really don't care about that though because the other 10% of us will be throwing a pretty pink pony princess party where you're not invited.

Of course! A Crystal Heart-shaped one, naturally.
Put me in that 10% as well! It would be nice to see what her canon character is, since we have seen only glimpses thus far.
They have a pillow pit?
We shall see. Cadance getting character development and a chance in the spotlight unspoiled by one villain or another would be fantastic. (Seriously, first Chrysalis, then Sombra, then Sunset Shimmer, then Discord... She just needs Nightmare Moon and she gets a free frozen yogurt.)
However, I remain skeptical. I find it best to reserve my expectations. That way, I'm never disappointed, and I encounter a lot of pleasant surprises.
And yet... Well, my fingers are crossed. We'll see what happens.

To be fair, the level of sanity among divine rulers who have pillow pits is probably higher than among those who have tiger pits.
