    Pinky the Kitchen Zombie

I've got to say that today's episode, "Every Little Thing She Does," struck a familiar note at one point: Pinky in the kitchen under Starlight's version of the "Imperius" curse. It was amazingly close to a scene in Words Failed Her where Pinky was madly baking in a magic-induced trance—except Twilight, at least, had the presence

    Pre-pre-readers?

Once again I'm looking for some pre-pre-readers to gather some... market research, yeah, that's it. I want to see if a story idea has legs and is worth following through on. So I've got 5k of words that could use some eyeballs and feedback. Any volunteers? I'll set the first few respondents up with a private GDocs copy of The Story So Far where they can make comments to their heart's content. No

    Relevant Al

That's "Al" short for "Albert," not "A.I." or "Artificial Intelligence." This is regular intelligence, hard at work. Watch it and improve your own. ;)

    Emotional Contagion Spread Through Facebook

Maybe Twilight needs to find a way to prevent herself from seeing cat videos and meme images if she ever comes to our world. She wouldn't want to take our digital infections home with her now, would she? I like it when life imitates art (sorta).

    Of Chaos Born

I'm working on a origin story for a particular villainess that does not begin with anything like a normal childhood. Her path here is far more transformative and closely intersects with that of another historical figure—one who's story I also plan to tell in a parallel tale—but her's is far more fun to start with. What follows is a first draft and prone to massive editing changes, as these things

Pre-pre-readers? · 4:58am Aug 13th, 2014

Once again I'm looking for some pre-pre-readers to gather some... market research, yeah, that's it. I want to see if a story idea has legs and is worth following through on. I'll set the first few respondents up with a private GDocs copy of The Story So Far where they can make comments to their heart's content. No need to monitor grammar—I have my master editor, Spabble, to handle that later. I'm just looking for story feedback. :)

What's it about? Still looking for help?

2366464 I should post the synopsis here. :) I did post an early version of it elsewhere. I'll edit the blog entry to add the synopsis.

2366678 Certainly sounds interesting. I'd give it a go.

Interesting idea. Only seen a couple other stories that deal with the past/future without it immediately getting all gloomy in one or the other. I'd like to read it as well.

2366776 I was hoping you'd be interested, VT. I'll set you up the bomb and send you a link in email. :)

You know you always have me as a prereader :pinkiecrazy:

2373096 Excellent, and of course! I'll email you a link. :)
