-Here's the full layout of locations on Sweet Apple Acres for each couple.
Spike/Rarity: Guest Bedroom
Dash/AJ: Applejack's Room
Mac/Fluttershy: Mac's Room
Derpy/Doc: Barn Floor
Pinkie/Caramel: Dining Room
Brae/Soarin: Barn Loft
Cakes: CMC Clubhouse
Bon/Lyra: East Orchard
-I have a bad habit of watching my wife sleep, and that's pretty much where the first chapter came from.
-For your inquiring minds, yes; the position Rarity describes is commonly known in our world as the 'Jackhammer.' I wanted the most ludicrous sexual position I could find. Look it up. You're welcome.
-It does my heart good to know that Rarity eventually finds and reconciles with Crescendo.
-Rarity cuts off Spike's line because, and I'm being honest here, I could not figure out a funny "Once you go Purple" line.
-While the Rarity/Spike chapter reads a little... corny to me, the Dash/AJ chapter is one of my favorites. The dialogue just flows beautifully and I love Dash's little moment of weakness when she claims that she can't forget.
-Finding just the right line to end a story on is an art form. The Dash/AJ chapter is me, pardon my big-headedness, painting a masterpiece.
-Insert me gushing about Warren Hutch's 'Windfall' here.
-Don't care if it's a FlutterMac cliche, I will never not go AWWWWWWWW when Fluttershy responds to Mac's proposal with "Eeyup."
-The little bit about waking as husband and wife the first time actually came from the chap who married the missus and me.
-Everyone seems to really like NaughtyShy. Who knew?
-Turner's dialogue fills me with sorrow. I'll probably never get over the fact that 'Time Defense Guild' never got written. Rest assured, though, that you will still see Turner's team, including the Tall Pony, before everything is over.
-Hey, did you guys know there's a storm coming?
-CaramelPie also comes from Warren Hutch.
-So 'twas Pinkie who spiked AJ and Dash's drinks. It's Pinkie they owe it to that they've finally gotten together. They would take it pretty hard if something happened to her, don't you think?
-I love the little moment when Twilight hears Spike's voice in her head. Love it.
-Little reference to a little fic called 'The Teacher, the Sorceress, and the Wonderbolt.' Not a bad little fic by any stretch of the imagination.
-I love Cheerilee's horror when she coughs up Twilight's feather.
-In case you're wondering, you haven't seen the last of Flash Sentry. He's appointed Shining Armor's personal guard and accompanies him to Canterlot when Shining goes to visit Luna and Moon Shadow. It allows him time to see his long-distance love, the lovely Trixie...
-Bloodninja remains a pioneer in the world of internet humor.
-Cheerilee's situation makes me sad. It's a shame that Equestria has such strict laws on polygamy. Oh wait! It doesn't. But would Mac go for something like that? Or is there another stallion in Cheerilee's future? Another teacher perhaps?
-The story of the Cake's first kiss and when they started dating is a true story. That's exactly how my ex and I got together, right down to the fact that we were friends for years before then. Every word of that story is true, all the way up to her pulling me into a secluded alcove that night. My step-dad rolled in a few minutes later. Bastard.
-I turn 25 on August 8th and I'm going through a wee bit of an age crisis, much like the Cakes.
-Thoughts on so many ponies waking up to certain smells?
-'Sweet Music' sounds like it would be OctaScratch, but it's actually referencing Lyra and Bon Bon's cutie marks.
-Issues in my own marriage often come up in the stories I write. This was no exception.
-The idea of a drunk Bon Bon coming to Lyra for company is a direct reference to a certain Offspring song.
-AJ and RD coming down-stairs directly after the CMC mention the clubhouse not being a love shack all the time (knowing what's to come in 'Can You Read My Mind') just makes me laugh really hard.
-But not as hard as Rarity and Sweetie Belle's silent conversation after Rarity escapes out the guest room's window. Hi-larious.
-Future trivia question; what song did Sweetie Belle sing for Mac and Fluttershy's first dance? Answer: 'So This is Love' from Disney's Cinderella.
-Applebloom and Rumble sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. God help that Clubhouse when the CMC come of age.
-The image of Flim and Flam hooking up with Granny Smith in a drunken stupor (and Flim liking it) is possibly one of my favorite bits of comedy.
-Luna takes lovers. Celestia's lucky if she gets one or two rolls in the hay every couple centuries. Poor girl.
I do totally picture a Luna harem. Kinda working that into one of my fics, too... but yes, the AppleDash is my favorites of all this. Good on ya, Pinkie!
Well... out of context I laughed, went "d'awl" and now I have a bad image of Flim/Flam and Granny Smith.

Age trouble over 25? I freaking embraced it. Granted I keep forgetting I'm actually 25... I keep thinking I'm in my early 20's then I remember I'm older then that.
