I've Actually Written Something

I know, I'm as shocked as you.

In any case, I have a story in the pipeline. All I'm going to say is that it features a character I've never written before, there are no card games involved, and a bit of my headcanon that's only been mentioned in passing will get fleshed out a little.

I will now relate this post to card games: Black Lotus is a zero-cost that gives you 3 mana. If you have a land in your hand (another zero-cost card,) this means you can get a four-cost card on the field on turn one. FOUR cost for ZERO. There.

Update: The submission failed, on the grounds that the short description was insufficiently descriptive. I have since corrected this issue, resubmitted story, and used the old short description as a chapter title. We'll see how round 2 goes.
