I leave for college this Thursday and I'm super duper nervacited! I'm so nervous about meeting so many new people and living somewhere I know almost nothing about but I'm so excited about new things and freedom and school and just funness! I'm kind of shy when I meet new people though so I hope I can get over that soon so I can make lots of friends. I'm not worried about school at all, though. I actually enjoy it haha! (in two weeks I'll be complaining about how swamped I am but whatever) Ooooh! I'm so excited I'm all packed and everything I can't wait!
First thing to do when I get to college: Unpack and get organized
Second thing: Find out where my classes are
Third Thing: Locate who plays Magic and challenge them!
Forth Thing: Study super duper hardish
Fifth Thing: Exercise for archery (My pants aren't going to fit anymore.... I already shrank out of my new shorts, it sucks.)
Any advice for a super new to college freshy girl? (I already have mace, thank you)
My Expectation of College Theme Song:
Don't trust strangers, hoard toilet paper like it's gold, and get used to ramen.

... I don't know if I bought toilet paper
and i have a meal plan with the college.
Congrats! And I can say that Bob probably has the best advice so far. Though I'd say that just be prepared for a far different experience. I'm in a school that has college classes in it, and I've taken three so far. College classes are hard, and they will challenge you and keep you up at night trying to finish homework or simply to learn and understand the material. If you haven't had a college class, then prepare for the speed. It will cover a lot of a material in a short amount of time.
However, the one thing is that it truly depends on the college. Homework is not necessarily standard anymore. So if a class doesn't have homework, you best study the material you do get. Once the testing periods come around, it's all types of hell, from what I've heard and experienced first hand. There's nothing like it.
Just be on your toes and have fun. Don't fret too much about this kind of stuff. You'll get used to it after a while, especially since they will work you up to normal speed; you won't be dropped into a class that's going a million miles an hour if you are used to only ten miles an hour.
Other than that, have fun! Enjoy college. Many don't, but don't let it get you down. Walk with you chin up, eyes open, and a smile on your face. If you do all of that, your golden.
It's as simple as that.
