After reading Horns the book, I have low hopes for the movie, as movie from books tend to go.
I once worked for UPS for a seasonal time during the winter holidays. We got a shipment of film reels and with a heavy heart, it read 'Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.' Six months later it came out to theaters. I hoped I never saw another uncontrollable disaster approach the theater ever again..... but I was wrong.
