Day Zero of Bronycon begins like any other. I woke up at noon, ate some food, packed, and set off for glorious Baltimore with my brother, TheBigStallowski, on an hour and twenty minute drive. That unfortunately turned into an hour and thirty minutes because of my gps being a special child, but my average speed of 85mph was more than able to compensate for it.
After arriving in Baltimore I hung out with the handsome Ruirik while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. Shit was good, and that’s where I spent about $7.50 on food since I was freaking hungry. We then wandered around Inner Harbor for a bit, where my brother got a Big Lebowski book (are you seeing the inspiration for his name?).
My thoughts are kinda scattered ‘cause it’s late. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Deal with it.
When LoyalLiar arrived we went on get registered and stuff. That was fun; it took less time than it did last year, by orders of magnitudes. As in, I got my badge in about 2 minutes, whereas last year on Friday morning it took FOUR HOURS to get my badge. From there, the party ended up separating, with my brother and I meeting up with our cousin and other friends while everyone else who was actually 21 or older went to the bar trot. Oh well. I had fun with my cousin at Noodles & Co. and spent the other $7.50 of the day on food. Then I spent time crashing with my other friends and making up my list of things I want to do throughout con. Then I came back to the room and listened to inebriated readings of pony clop and others. It was… interesting.
Now I’m off to get a good night’s sleep and get up for tomorrow’s celebrations. Tomorrow I’ll update the list of shit I’ve bought and money spent.
If you see me or any of the PoL team wandering around con, feel free to stop us and ask for autographs. I’d be more than happy to write “24” on whatever you want me to sign.
Until then,
