I published "An Old Flame" earlier this month as part of a personal goal to post more stories this year (we're not gonna talk about how I wanted to publish a non-clopfic this month too) and I'm pretty pleased with its reception.
Wow! Thanks to all the wonderful people of FimFiction, "Twilight Sparkle Has a Type" ended up on the Featured Box shortly after publishing it. Between the views, comments, and the feature, I'm blown away by the support. Thanks to everyone who read and enjoyed this short little slice-of-life story. I honestly hadn't
Well, I'm keeping my new year commitment by publishing a story a month. Technically, "Twilight Sparkle Has a Type" was January's story and it's coming out on February 1st, but close enough for me!
I'm attending BronyCon this year in Baltimore. It'll be my second con, after I attended TrotCon in my home state of Ohio earlier this year. Are any of my awesome followers and readers planning on attending? Got any tips? Interested in meeting up?
Don't show up at the convention center doors at 7 am, because your hotel mate wanted to be one of the first into the vendors room. While it is a good chance to meet people you will be doing enough standing through the day, no reason to start early . Also if possible I'd like to give you a brohoof in person.
I too will be there! And my advise to you is make sure you get plenty of rest each night, make sure you're eating, make sure you're keeping yourself clean, bring some cash, and don't freak out too much.
Oh also planning ahead can help, so look through the schedule and see when certain panels are and where. Sometimes rooms can get packed so it can be beneficial to come a bit early, especially if it's a popular panel and it's in a smaller room. Don't forget to take breaks and simply enjoy being there though!
If you have questions or concerns also be sure to talk to the BronyCon staff. The Con staff do their best to make sure everyone has an awesome time.
You'll see me jogging around quite a bit and I actually live in Ohio as Well xD Down in the Cincy area. If I see ya I'll be sure to give you a brohoof, You'll see me in one of three hats, a Guard one, a Blue one with pins and grey ears, and one that looks like a wonderbolts flightmask with white ears and a blue mane. :)

Bronycon?
Yeah, I'll be there! Considering you're still my favorite OctaScratch author, I sure hope to see 'ya!
I'll be with a giant, an albino, and two other guys. I'll be...... erm...... "more globe-shaped" than the rest of 'em.
