So, I watched How to Train Your Dragon 2 this morning, loved it, and spent the rest of the day listening to the soundtrack. Strangely, the track I was listening to as I finished the next chapter of How the Sunset Sparkles was not 'The Dancing and the Dreaming' (although I'm listening to that now), but 'Stoick's Ship'. Make of that what you will.
Also, I've made some changes to the plot of How the Sunset Sparkles which I think will change the story for the better. Twilight tells Sunset that she's marrying Flash Sentry. Amongst other things, this means the story will be completed sooner, and hopefully the characters will be more in character than my original plot would have made them. You'll be able to see that there are some slight changes to the synopsis a few minutes after I post this.

And now, looping back to movies again, I watched the Purge: Anarchy last night and I have to say: what's going on in Hollywood when a family movie by Dreamworks (friggin' Dreamworks!) is making bolder storytelling choices than a film for adults whose very premise is intended to shock and challenge the audience?
