progress report and contest! · 4:32pm
so i just finally finished the next chapter and it is in editing, which can take about 2-5 days, depeneding on how much time busen has. its a big chapter, longest one so far and 6500+ words, so hopefully it is worth it!
i'm sorry the chapter took so long, but you know its hard when you have a kid brother who wants to spend every waking moment playing mario party 9 (which is a good game, but in doses). and its difficult to write in a basement with two crazy kids around who are ' to cool for ponies' but anyways i digress.....
SOOOOOO that contest i was talking about..... not much of a contest, rather, i was going to make up some OC ponies for the begining of chapter 11 (which is the chapter after the one that hopefully comes out in the next few days) and i thought it'd be fun to let a few of my fans to have their OC or a OC in the story! so here how it'll work....
send me a Private message (click the envelope next to my name) and in that message put the following:
1. the name of the pony (Please make it a pony name! any human names like Mark, or Bob or Mary will be disqalified)
2. a picture of what he or she looks like (you can copy and paste a pony code, or send me an actual picture, or even a personal drawing if you want!)
3. a breif discription of their personality (please don't send me their whole life story! just a couple of things that makes them unique.)
a few rules to keep in mind:
1.only ponies please: i'll only accept earth ponies, pegasus, unicorns, and zebras OC
2. i will allow everyone three entries total, exceed this limit and your disquaified
and thats about it! the top three OC will be guards in the first secene of chapter 11!
1st and 2nd place will be having most of the converstion, with 1st palce taking the lead role. and then 3rd palce will come in later around the end of the scene.
if this goes well, i will do this again in the future, but lets test it out right now!
so get craking everypony! i'll post another blog post when the contest is finished.

Anyways yea big chapters take forever to get edited/proofread. Hope your contest gos better than mine cause no one was interested. Apparently my watchers and favers aren't artistic
I look forward to the next chapter.
Also, now that I'm thinking about it, when do you suspect will get another chapter to A Very Special Somepony?

so heres the deal with that, i have looked back at it, and have realised i have screwed it up big time. remember it was my first fanfic ever, and it kinda was my training wheels as i learned what ppl want and like. what i will probably do is scrap it, and then reboot it at a later date. in the new version i'm gonna make it so thateverything is balanced out between the mane six, as i in the first one tended to negelct a few (rarity, rainbow and fluttershy) so in the new one everypony will get a peice in every chapter! sorry that it had to go down like this, but in the old one things were movin a bit too slow.
