Umm, I'm kind of stumped on this one. Since I can't guess to save my life...I'll just say that Spike becomes a pirate on the open seas, but longs to return to the town where his one true love resides. Also, Gummy will be his first mate on the ship.

On spring break Spike goes to a cabin in the woods along with the CMC and someone else(possibly Rarity). They find a grimoire inked in pony blood and bound in pony flesh. It is the Necroponicon Ex-Mortis, they read it and bring forth the spirits of Canter-ian demons.

I'm not that good at writing, but I like to think of interesting ideas.
I feel like I need more hints:
Spike lives a perfectly ordinary life in Ponyville despite being a full-grown dragon.
FiM and Kirby crossover.
Spike goes on an epic journey for frivolous reasons.
Hmm.. I don't know. Spike is grown up and tells his story to people from when he was still a baby?
Other than that, I got nothing.

Spike wakes up and realizes he is a dragon.
This is totally going to be about Spike's brave knight fantasy, from the diamond-dogs episode. This I would love to see.
I know, I know. After sometime thinking about it I realized this is all just a clever ploy to trick people into coming up with an idea for a Spike story. It's a conspiracy I tells ya,
My guesses:
1- Spike moves away.
2- Spike takes a vacation.
3- Spike pursues his ambition of a date with Rarity.
4- Rarity finally accepts a date with Spike.
5- Spike goes on a "guy's night-out" with Big Mac or another stallion.
Those are my ideas.

Spike begins to feel like less of a friend and more of a slave to twilight. He battles himself not to tell any pony so he doesn't seem week, and cries himself to sleep almost every night, wondering why twilight treats him horrible(maybe twilight beats him as well?)
