Just an update and an apology to everyone, given I’m so very behind on the last chapter for AKH.  Having hoped to have it released two weeks ago, I've just not had the time to write with collage work mounting.  The end of year show is ten days away and frankly I feel less then prepared.

Anywho, another important bit of info is that AKH is being sort-of wrapped up in the next chapter.  During the planning stages I realised early on that there were massive hitches going into the second half of the story.  

A lot of perspective characters were phased out, while others found themselves randomly spotlighted by a much tighter storyline.  Eventually, after spending a lot of time thinking about convoluted ways of keeping the whole cast in play, I eventually settled on the fact that things would work far more smoothly if I focused the story in on the perspectives of only one or two.

While I had planned on almost double the number of present chapters, the shift required at this point feels more like a whole other story as we move away from the core characters of the first.  

In short, what was planned as a single tale has been divided into two; this first novella forming the precursor to a story with a much greater focus on two key characters, rather than wandering over such a wide cast.  This new project will become the new subject of my self-imposed rules, with weekly (if not better) updates though out the coming months.

As For AKH itself, following the scrutiny and brilliant tips from followers of the original, it will be subjected to an overhaul going to become a pet project over the summer.  With any luck I’ll be able to rope in both supporters and critics to gage what needs changing and what could be expanded upon.  After being subjected to a large amount of editing I’ll resubmit the whole thing in a trimmed, sleek form.

Hopefully the last chapter to AKH will be up in the next week or so!
