Updates

2k words into the next Reckoning. I'm realizing now how easily disrupted my writing process is. We've got rotating power outages here due to the severe damage the storm did to the power lines so, for the past few days, I had to spend five hours at a time sitting in the dark and sweating until the lights turn back on. I can't write when that happens. I can't even think about the story because all I'm thinking about is 'Fuck, it's hot and I'm bored. Meralco is dragging its heels in the repair process so it can justify the price increase that the Supreme Court blocked it from having.' Which may or may not be true. When the lights do go back up, my mind is still blank.

Summer is the most overrated season. It's always hot, bugs are everywhere, and don't even get me started on the tourists. Thankfully everyday that passes puts us one step closer to the glorious winter.

Regardless I hope your situation improves, no one deserves to have the relentless summer heat destroy their creative jive.
