Okay, let's cut the chase. I am poor. Real poor. I'm being forced out of my dorm to go back home without the best of ways to get there. My parents can come pick me up, but I have to use the last of my money to pay for gas, since all our money is current going to medical bills. Why? Because my mom recently had back surgery that, because of complications, means she might have to have another surgery, which means more bills. Yay for that. All the while, I can barely pay for college as it is, and the cheapskates at my university are forcing me out even after I paid up the dorm room for the rest of the summer semester. I literally paid them and they're forcing me out, the bastards.
So yeah, don't want to be a big sob story, but I could use some money. Not a ton, just a little to get by until my mom and dad's bonuses can come in (which they are "supposed to" at the end of the month) so we can pay for stuff again. I don't want to ask for much, and was more or less forced into this by Garnot, because he doesn't like me being self pitying and not asking for help.
So here I am, asking for help. What can I give in return? Well, every book I'll ever write will be available free on the internet whether it is fanfiction or real fiction. Plus, I'll never ask for commissions in writing or map making, only requests so anyone can get something if they have the money. It's not much, but it's the best that I can give back.

Geez. That alone is probably worth more than most people are paying (considering that that could be equivalent to hundreds of dollars, which most of us can't really throw at every cause, much as we'd like to.)
