I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    So I asked Gemini AI...

To summarize the story TD the Alicorn Princess. The result I got was... interesting.

    1. Fimfiction story: This story involves Peter Westmoore, a responsible college student, who is transported to the magical land of Equis and transformed into an alicorn princess named TD. He faces challenges adapting to his new life and ruling his nation.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

    I totally forgot

To mark this as a "sequel" to the original story. So, if you're in the mood for more TD/Comet...

TD the Alicorn Done · 6:55pm Jul 17th, 2014

So here's a thought I've been having. What if I finished TD the Alicorn Princess?

No wait, don't go yet! I didn't say stop writing about him/her, just finish that particular story.

See, here's what I was thinking. The story's called TD the Alicorn Princess. Well, after everything that's happened throughout the course of the story, he's not TD anymore. He's morphed completely into Antares. So, I'm thinking of ending TD the Alicorn Princess in a few chapters and doing a sequel called Antares... something. I dunno, the title will have Antares in it.

Now, given the nature of these last few chapters, will the whole story be like that? Dark and brooding and Nolan? No, it won't. Will there be that stuff? Well yeah, Equestria is barreling towards war. But that's not going to be the whole story. It wouldn't be a TD story without some humor and some happy moments.

So yeah, what do you all think?

If you can work it out so that it's titled Antares: Prince of Equestria it should be fine.

Mnm... I dont see how this alicorn is fully Antares now... yet she didn't acquire experience from episode with assasination. And we didnt saw any episodes about her in "daily" activitys, any thoughts about her from other pony`s perspective.

Your work is not done here.

2294443 Yes, I will address the gender issue.

i think you are right he even considers himself as antares now i think u should go for it

2294447 Oh, just wait until the next chapter.

Eh. do whatever you want. You may lose some readers in the process, though with the amount of followers you got I doubt that's gonna be an issue when you post... instant feature, guaranteed.

As for a title...
Antares the Alicorn Princess

Hardy har.

No but seriously? Wrath of the Stars.

I think the title, "Antares" fits. That's it, just, "Antares."

2294456 I had considered Antares the Wrath of the Stars. Granted, that's not going to be the whole story, so I dunno...

2294460
If you wanna split it, go full retard and make a story only about the war and another about the aftermath and/or tidbits in-between.

I think that is a wonderful idea!:heart::heart: i love your stories soooo much!

Makes sense to me.

Antares The Scorpion Princess.

2294460
2294459

i think a title of Antares would do nicely as well

I'm kind of undecided, but am probably going to lean against doing this.

There are times where a title has become an artifact and it no longer makes sense to continue using it. Here, I see dropping it causing confusion, and I still consider TD to be TD. A TD that has no doubt been reshaped both physically and mentally, but still an extension of that same character. When you say "morphed completely", I'd have a hard time buying that in 2 years TD has managed to displace an identity he's had for most of his life. Maybe when he gets to be thousands of years old, then we'll talk.

I think that that is a good idea. Right now we have her fully embracing her new identity by calling herself by her new name when she flipped out. If you ended the story now you can pick up at the next one with her recovering and it would work out to be absolutely brilliant. Maybe you can even stretch it out into a trilogy like the main story. By the way, do you plan on getting back to tds little rarity 1.5 by chance or is that one being left alone?

2294559 I do plan on it, just... not sure when.

2294572 OK, good to know. Thank you. Good luck with your writing. :pinkiehappy:

As long as Celestia gets punched in the face again, I'm in.

2294588 I think td is done punching celestia, I however plan to have her get a nice good decking in my story. And it will do much more than what td managed.

2294604

I think td is done punching celestia

Maybe in the bedroom... :trixieshiftright:

I don't speak for everyone, but as long as I get my TD/Antares fix, I'll go with what ever you have planned.

Personally, I'm all for it. At this point, it seems less like TD got transformed into Antares, and more like Antares with TD-esque elements.

Sounds like a neat idea! However, I'm pretty sure a chapter or two that involves lots of freaking out over identity ("Who am I?!!?!") is mandatory for such a situation.

2294631 nope, not going there. I know you probably added that bit because fun but him punching her like that looks to me like the beginning of an abusive relationship. I hope it isn't a running thing in the story, once it's OK but every time and it will worry me. I hope that main td is not like Alicorn td. If he is:pinkiecrazy: watch out for:eeyup::ajbemused: and :rainbowdetermined2: along with :applecry::scootangel::unsuresweetie:

2294694 I was, in fact, making a joke.

So is this officially stating that TD will never return to his human form? Breaking his promise to find a way to alicornisate Sparklebutt instead?

More TD? New story because identify shift?

Fuck, yeah. I'd be down for that for sure.

2294720 He never promised to ascend her. He promised to try to find a way, and failed.

Idk, i guess if you want to. I don't see much of a point though, especially if were still on the same plot arc. I guess i 'm indifferent, i would still read and enjoy it either way, I guess i just don't see the point.

2294712 I figured as much but I can't always tell. Do you plan on creating another side story and Au, I have been thinking that he should have a world where he gets a changeling horn and wings so he can do magic and fly but then you made this story and he can do that but as a human with no responsibility he can have some fun messing with:trollestia:and Prince BlueButt

Personally, I wouldn't like the change.
Be he pony or human, Antares is TD in the end.
He was born with it and should always be remembered as such, even if he now carries a new name.
Also, while I know you won't make it happen, there still is that chance he might return to being TD the human at some point, even if it's someone else who does that what-if scenario (with your consent of course).
Not to mention, if we take away the fact this is TD from the title/equation, it seems to no longer be part of the same world you created... it'll feel like whatever it came from died and passed on to the next life.
Agree or disagree, this is my honest opinion.:twilightblush:

Sooo, you're asking if there will soon-ish be a good reason for me to get the whole thing printed and re-reading it? I vote yes :-).

Seriously though, the last few chapters were, well, quite important and I suppose that they do mark a new part of Antares-TD's life, new story's not a bad idea.

I think its a grand idea

2294757 I must have missed this.:applejackunsure: Do you know where this failed attempt has been described?

2294862 I'm pretty sure he never found even a plausible way for it to happen. He failed the search, not the attempt.

What if I finished TD the Alicorn Princess?

*Grabs torch*

No wait, don't go yet! I didn't say stop writing about him/her, just finish that particular story.

Oh, okay. *Drops torch*

I'm indifferent to splitting or not splitting. I'll be reading it either way. Now if you'll excuse me, I seem to have been careless with a torch, so I should probably go find a fire extinguisher soonish.

In TD stories, Celestia gets punched. In Antares stories, Celestia gets...something completely different.

But jokes aside, I think that if everyone, including Antares himself, is calling him Antares, it doesn't make much sense to keep using TD in the name of the story. Unless maybe something happens that makes his old life relevant and important to the story. Like opening up a portal back to earth, or something.
(Disclaimer that may or may not be relevant to the discussion: I still haven't read the two most recent chapters. Sorry.)

as long as TD remains female in this universe in fine with it

Honestly, I've gotten a great deal of enjoyment out of much of the TD's adventures and some of your other tales, such as Of Suns and Squids.(:rainbowlaugh:)
I'd definitely read it either way. :moustache:

*shrugs* its your story but the question is would a person be comfortable completely removing their identity to suit the needs of others? yes he is antares but thats the outside, he was born as TD, raised as TD. throwing that away is not something one does easily.

I kinda got scared for a second at the first bit until I continued reading. Honestly I think it could be a good idea as it's a good way to separate the story into sections of different ideals. This entire one has pretty much about TD accepting what has happened and living with it which does seem to be about over now. The next one could then focus a bit more on something new with maybe a few throwbacks to the previous ones as needed, but them not being a huge focus like before. Also it will make the story seem a tad more friendly as large numbers for word-count can get a bit intimidating.

I'd like to see a faux-sequel where Trixie finishes the spell Twi and TD were working on to turn Twi into an alicorn and TD back to TD, and then Queen Trixicorn tries (and fails) to creates a rebellion to help Griffonia defeat the Equestrian Diarchy. Naturally, the entire thing was Blueblood's doing, as for him, the prank war never ended, he just needed time to prepare something that could adequately express his rage.
...
Actually, make it a radio drama!

Yeah' I think that is a good idea. Now that TD is "Antares, Wrath of the Stars" or whatever, I think a re-titling is in order. Sort of like a "part II" or a "second phase".

I like the idea. Now I must catch up in TD: The Alicorn Princess, I haven't read that story in ages.

I saw the title of the blog post and almost died.

After recovering from my panic attack and reading it, I'd have to say that it would be a good idea to do that. You are right, it is more about Antares the princess than TD the princess.

Other the eventual Td and Equestria Girls story I recall reading about awhile back. I have no problems with thos.

D48

I am going to have to go against the grain and say that I think it is a bad idea. Yes TD has changed significantly since he ascended, but you could say the same thing about his character development in the main timeline as well so I do not think that is really worthy of a new name on its own. I could have seen a separate story for the war story arc the way you had a separate story for his journey, but it is far too late for that now so I think the best course of action is to keep going with what you have.

Seems like the idea would work just fine to me.

Antares' Rage: Alicorn of The South Star

Hmm... Antares; Queen of the Stars sounds nice. Rolls off the tongue.
