Except no. Since we don't have the nerdy girl archtype and the friction of the mane fiesty red-head (okay AB fits the bill) rivalry with rich opinionated holier than thou rich girl to cause friction.

Unless you mean the brat IN Equestria causing mayhem. I can see it. Sort of. But nah. all CMC as the Magic Knights over picking other background ponies or OTHER character to fit certain roles, just wouldn't have the same impact that my most beloved game, and then anime series, held as a premise when it came to friendshipping complete strangers. D:

Didn't get into season 2. Awesome fights though. But could not get into that.

The one crossover with the CMC I would love to see is with Duck Tales. I think Huey, Dewey, and Louie would really mesh with the CMC (and Webby would make an interesting female counterpoint), and together they would likely make Scrooge climb up the walls
