For those that recall, I took a pretty big unmarked hiatus from the Alchemist's Heart.
What happened at the time was that I had decided that for reasons, Chapters 33 and 34 would be released simultaneously. At that time, I had actually already been sitting on the finished Chapter 33 for at least a day or so and it was already being edited. Thing is that I ended up hitting a bit of writer's slump less than 500 words into Chapter 34. Of course, my favorite thing to do when in a slump is play video games and work on other projects. That this coincided with the Steam Summer Sale didn't help any. Dark Souls and Mass Effect 3 [thanks for the 75%+20% discount, Gamer's Gate] definitely ate some of my time.
Then came the remnants of Hurricane Arthur [or as was called in my area, Post-tropical Depressio Arthur], just last week. The very day I wanted to get back to writing on everything, the power went out, and stayed out for two days, with the net down for an additional day. So I worked through it with yard clean-up and other stuff. Soon after, a Blouse Unbuttoned saw it's fifth chapter released, and I could safely get started back on 34. Here I am, probably four or five days later, and I've already accomplished what I set out to.
As I mentioned in the 'Not dead' blog post, some plans have changed regarding the Alchemist's Heart. Mostly, the changes involve openings for sequels and the 'planned' Equestria Girls tie-in/spinoff. While a sequel somewhere down the line is not out of question, the spin-off is now off the table. The reason being that the more you overthink an idea or plot line, the stupider it begins to feel. So rather than Silver Script living in the Crystal Empire and giving birth to foals on 'Equestria Girls Earth', it will be in her new temporary residence as depicted in the upcoming Chapter 34. Incidentally, after 34, I have two more planned chapters.
As mentioned, 33 and 34 are still to be released simultaneously, so once 34 comes back with the OK from my team, you guys will get a nice double release. Then I can get to work on the endgame.
While its great to see you writing Alchemist Hearts again, with no word of a lie, the story that I am enjoying the most is currently A Blouse Unbuttoned.
Just wondering if you are planning on having a release schedule for A Blouse Unbuttoned in the near future?

2282103 I probably won't be working on the next ABU for at least a week, and that is assuming I finish the next two chapters of the Alchemist's Heart in that time frame. I try not to make a habit of setting dates or release schedules, because I don't like feeling guilty about things out of my control (like my attention span) getting in the way.
