Summer Lands, Editors, and WHAT THE F*CK?! OF SKIES LONG FORGOTTEN?! · 12:00am Jul 13th, 2014
Hey everybody! Just a quick little news blog for you.
Summer Lands Chapter 7 has been posted. I busted my ass on this chapter. I was averaging over 2k words a day for the past few days (largely because I had nothing better to do). As for the final scene of the chapter, the reactions I got from Loyal when he read that for the first time were spectacularly priceless. While the entire scene needed to be revised, the basic parts are still the same. I would encourage you to have discussions on this sudden turn of events on the chapter itself, not here.
Secondly, I picked up a new editor for my stories. Everyone welcome Dusk Watch to the editing staff! With his wise words of wisdom (and words), and his great Mjolnir, Comma-Destroyer, expect an improvement in the quality of my stories from here on out.
Lastly, you may have noticed that Of Skies Long Forgotten has just gotten an update! Now, I'm sorry for making you ruin your undergarments with your excitement, but it's just a much-needed prologue that was added (at Dusk Watch's suggestion) that ties OSLF in closer with the rest of the ASoS trilogy by starting Twilight's journey to unravel the secrets of Commander Hurricane. However, this is the start of something much larger: OSLF's oft-promised rewrite. While I can say that the rewrite isn't beginning in the near future, it will be happening once Summer Lands and Roadac are finished.
And that's all from me! Still going to Bronycon 2014. If you're there, say hi. The whole PoL group will be there, along with a few other assorted characters.
Ante Legionem nihil erat, et nihil erit post Legionem.

EDIT: That feel when you have two stories in the feature box at the same time.
Good! I see you've made the front page. Time you get more god damn followers to see how epic of a writer you are. You deserve thrice the amount of people begging for your every word.
Oh man, I just started reading OSLF!
I hope the rewrite doesn't change a lot of plot points, but I'll probably re-read it when it's out anyway, loving the story so far.
