POLL REGARDING SPARKLE NO MORE! · 5:30pm Jul 12th, 2014
Okay guys, I want you to decide what I should do with Sparkle No More.
Should I
A) Cancel it
B) Stick with my original ending that would probably upset a lot of people (which I think I have saved somewhere in my Drive or computer, but believe me, it doesn't do it the story justice)
C) Stay close to my original ending but change it slightly to add more emotions to it (which is what I'm leaning towards)
D) Change my ending completely and have it filled with reactions from all the characters.
I've been trying to do the last option for the post months and have had no luck doing it all. So if this is the option that wins, it may or may not even ever be finished.
What would you guys like?
Or E twilight becomes nightmares servant and not die
C, I would rather see an ending than no ending, after all.
D (Just because I like sadness.)
Just finish it. Damn what anyone else thinks, write YOUR story.
I pick C because you're already leaning towards it, but personally I'd pick B because I kind of want to see the original ending.
Or, if people's opinion does matter to you, why not write up B, C, and D, round up a bunch of pre-readers, and let them give you input on what ending works best? It'd be more work, but it would be a bit more helpful in gauging what's best.
I'll vote C and ask if we can get the original as a bonus chapter later.

C, definitely, I don't like when an original ending is scrapped or replaced, but they can always be improved.
Write it your way. YOUR story, YOUR way. People can be upset all they want, but you need to finish it and be happy. Or you can do what people do win this situation. Write two endings and upload both. One your way, one with the ending satisfying most of the readers. Either way, finish it!
To be honest, I'd kind of like to see the original ending. I'm not sure there's a good way to resolve this story, though, given that the mane six have sort of lost the pony that connected them. It might as well just end with that little chat between Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor since there doesn't seem to be much to drive the story.

Alright. I'll get started on working on my original ending but changed slightly. Again, thank you all for sticking with me through this story, even after all this time I haven't updated it. I'll try to make it worth the wait.

Please say your still writing this? And I'm glad you're going with option C. The original ending when it comes about, shouldn't have to be utterly changed. Best of luck to you ^_^.
