Just worked a 16 hour shift on my birthday... Blarg.
So after yesterday...
...I've patched things up with Commander. Now. Where do I stand? Of course I'm staying. I love you all too much to give up now. Besides, 58 chapters with only 2 left? I'd beat myself with a baseball bat before I quit. All in all, I have to apologize. I got bummed out from the SMALLEST, SILLIEST thing. It always happens! I just wanted to thank everyone for their support! I don't deserve you guys!
Now. Some of you may notice that some stories are missing. Don't worry. I'm not moving out. I'm just decorating. The Spider and the Butterfly will be replaced by Spiders and Magic: Bedside Chronicles (a Peter x Twilight clop collection), and 21 Reasons Why will be upgraded to 50 Reasons Why. =)
As for the edits. It's driving me nuts now. The harem aspect. I'm going back through all 58 chapters and I'm going to cut away ALL harem scenes with an axe. The only one that has a reason to love Peter besides Twilight is Luna, seeing as to how it's a pivotal part of the story and part of her development. So... keep an eye open for the edits. I'm slicing and dicing without prejudice!

You know if you want to change your story that is your business, but you shouldn't if you liked what it was about. And just remember that your story got 1828 likes because you wrote it the way you wanted and didn't pander to people.

2274332 Hehe. We ALL learned from it. I'm just going to ignore anything outside of criticism from them. They have the mindset of elitists, so anything not on par with their standard is demeaned. It's just... who they are. So... whatever. Besides, it's a handful of them in contrast to the 2500+ (combined from fimfiction, fanfiction, and deviantart) supporters. We'll be fine.

That out of the way, I'm glad things were patched up, you were here to just spread joy and shouldn't had been subjugated to such a negative response. While all artists do in fact have to deal with critics (we don't live in bubbles after all), critics have to remember to be constructive or nothing good comes out of it.
Having much of the harem aspect be removed is probably a good idea (you're not making an anime/manga here, despite the artwork style) but make sure what you take out doesn't subtract from the story.
You'll have to judge it in a case by case intense given how you want it to end (personally I think leaving in the Fluttershy wing-boner scenes are fine because it showed that Peter was attractive as a stallion, but if you nyx them to avoid having to explain why Fluttershy didn't follow through with that we'd all understand).

2274524 I'll have to keep the wingboner scenes since it's apparently on tvtropes. It works since it happened to Twilight, too. As for the others, yeah. I'll give everyone the ax. The only mares that are acceptable are Trixie, Luna, and Twilight. Twilight? Well, that's obvious.
Trixie had a ton of development, so it's understandable why she would be attracted to Peter. Luna's feelings are pivotal to the plot-- developing leading to the whole Venom bit. Everyone else though? Not really. It shouldn't take long to take everything out... I hope.

Also, even though I'm glad you're doing some editing, you don't need to get rid of ALL the harem aspects, just those that aren't so ambiguous, like the "herd mentions" that happen every now and again. That way, the story could continue into either "House Of Parker," or "Spiders and Magic II," or even both....
Also, you don't HAVE to get rid of "The Spider And The Butterfly," either, it makes for great practice with writing romance, as well as for exploring the possibilities for Peter and his relationships with the characters of the show, both romantic and platonic...
