Next Chapter Update Info · 3:15am Jul 11th, 2014
Hey there. MadMaxtheBlack here to give you all an update on the next chapter.
I've been hacking away at it during my recovering (as well as getting plenty of rest, because most of my readers have told me to) whenever my medicine and drugs allow me to have a stable mindset. Despite all that, however, it's only about halfway done.
That being said, as it sits right now, it's just about 14,400 words long. With that in mind, I have a question for my readers.
I can, at the moment, go through and work on and edit what I have so far, and get half the chapter out to you all some time during this weekend (or early next week). That, or I can continue working on it and you'll get a full, looooooong chapter in a little while.
I leave the choice up to you guys: do you want half a chapter soon, or a full chapter later?

Blackie, you try and please your readers too much. It's your story, release the chapters when you feel they are ready.
Mad, do what you think is right when it comes to this marvelous story you've come up with. Just know that we are on the edges of our seats, but can be patient when we know you are working on it.
As much as I like long chapters, I think 14k is enough. Give us half, with a good ending point, then feed us the other half when it's ready.

Seriously though, 14k is half? Some fo you people are fucking machines or something, man.
I personally feel that it should be posted when it is complete. Rushing a partial work just to meet a self-enforced deadline isn't going to do you any favors.
...On a side note - 14k words already, and it's only half-done? This is going to be a very long chapter when it's done.
I'm interested in what's in store - this'll be your longest chapter yet. Something significant is going to be happening in the near future, I reckon. 
I vote for whatever makes sense with the writing. If there is a legit stopping point for it, then stop it there. If not, keep writing until there is one.

I'm honestly not sure what I would want. I am biting at the bit for more chapters of course but if I get half now, I'd be going more nuts for the rest of it. Maybe it's better if you hold off until you got the whole thing ready to post.
I'm willing to wait for that; it helps the waiting a lot knowing that it is indeed on it's way. So many good fics died on this site already. If this story is seen through to the end, then I can wait for a long time. I just don't want this one to die too. Please keep up the good work! Best of luck to you!

I was going to say half chapter but it seems like the majority has spoken and sadly I will have to wait more for my YHaY dose, im starting to get the abstinence jitters from not enough YHaY.
Don't fall into the trap of trying to please anyone. This is your shit, you choose when and where it falls.
Personally if a chapter gets too long I find myself less likely to sit down and read it because I need to devote my time to it. I don't really use the bookmark system. Can't even figure it out half the time. XP

I don't like to snack so I say wait till your good and ready to post the full one. and hope they got you one some good shit (mite get a couple ideas from that high)

I personally like long chapters, but ultimately it is completely up to you, my you give the illness a boot to the head.
Whatever suits you, but I believe a full chapter will be easier for you to finish and for us to read (no mid-chapter cliffhanger).

I want it now, and would be happy with a cliff hanger (many a great series were littered with them), but I'll vote on wait because you need rest. And ultimately, without you this story doesn't exist.

I only recently found this story, and read everything you had so far. This is the first update I've actually had to wait for. While it caught me off guard, it's completely understandable. Just wanted to say a couple things.

I want it sooner simply because 14400 words is already a pretty big chapter, and 25k+ word chapters can be intimidating to get around to reading.
2273435 as much as I want it now I'd say later. I love long chapters makes it feel like I'm reading a book. That's rare to find in fimfictions.
I prefer pong chapters. I wouldn't be able to read it anytime soon anyway.
