Sleipnir's Big Adventure · 9:04pm Jul 7th, 2014
Today I completed the story, which means I'll be editing it over quickly, and hopefully posting will start by the end of the week. It's... I don't even know what's short or long anymore. It's a little over 300K words, we'll go with that. There's a whole bunch of adventures, from the Mines of Horsia to the Lich King. And through it all, Sleipnir gets to travel with a uh... particularly fun sidekick, we'll put it that way. Hopefully it should be an enjoyable adventure/comedy, and on the bright side it should be a little lighter than what I've usually done.
And oh, right. Even though it kind of takes place during Glory Be, there's not really any major spoilers you have to worry about. A few hints here and there, but otherwise it's a stand-alone story that people should be able to just pick up and enjoy, since I know a few people were wondering about that.
Derp. Sorry for the double post. Still trying to get used to this new computer.

This is going to be awesome

I'm hoping so. It should bring my Lord of the Rings parodying to new levels.
Finally a new fix.
Roughly 300k words?
Roughly 30 hours (at my speed) of time to read the amazing adventures of everyone's favourite big lovable stallion...
...I just can't think of a way to say that in which it doesn't sound odd.

Odd can be good. And hopefully it'll be half as good as people expect. Doing a whole Sleipnir story ended up being surprisingly challenging.
Well, that's great. I think I'm gonna finish rereading SK and then I'll start this story.
I'll even pretend that I believe you that it wouldn't be that dark; it almost worked with your two latest stories, after all.

True, but the difference this time is it's about Sleipnir. And with Sleipnir, things can never get too unhappy.
