You know, story approving is fun sometimes, cause I can just idly do something for a few minutes to pass the time. Every once in a while I can come across some alright stories or just laugh at how terrible other stories are. But when I have to deal with stories that are really crossing some lines, I feel like my time is wasted.
Recently I failed a story for not reaching the 1000 word minimum because they just copy/pasted their story twice. In all honesty, it just shows the user is being lazy and, 99% of the time, telling them to not be lazy makes them write 1000 words of actual story. Instead, however, I received a reply that just showed a non-caring user that was just trying to get some "laelz." On top of that, just a little bit ago, I failed a story for being "blatantly offensive." Sorry to burst your bubbles, guys, but stories about Columbine shootings and poking fun at 9/11 are a) not funny whatsoever and b) will not be allowed on this site. Especially if you say in your description "this is going to be offensive as all hell. Let the hatred commence! kekekekekekek."
You're wasting my time. But not just my time. You're wasting Meeester's, Razed's, Cyne's, Obs, Alex's, Wanderer D, and Eldorado's time. You're just submitting a story that you know will fail moderation just for the sake of hoping it is approved to get some lulworthy comments on your story. Come on guys, grow the hell up. Submit stories that are actually stories. At least most of the literal crap I approve is someone's attempt to convey any sort of meaning of a story versus trying to get a rise out of everyone and wasting my time. I don't appreciate it and I doubt anyone else on staff appreciates it, either. Especially if you PM us back trying to get out of it through our FAQ. Yeah, it doesn't say "do not submit blatantly offensive stories," but if the staff decision is to no longer allow those types of stories, then it's left to moderator discretion.
Also, just a friendly reminder, I'm serious about not approving your story when you ask me. I will personally let it sit in the queue for a few hours or a day, maybe even two, if you ask me to approve your story. I'm a volunteer for this site and I do this to help the community. If you come to me saying "well it sat in the queue for an hour and normally gets approved under that time..." then I will make sure it doesn't leave the queue. Totally different if it has been sitting there for a day or something, I'll gladly help out then. If it's been there for less than that, then piss off. I'm not your little staff buddy to be used. I'm a human being who could be doing better stuff, like collecting hats in TF2 or something.
TL;DR: stop wasting my time with your bullshit and submit meaningful stories.

But! But! Being in a convention and waking up dressed as Man-Fei in Equestria and acting like a douche-bag is meaningful, Shadow! It's-it's beyond meaningful. It's a lifestyle! A declaration of love for life and all that is goodly in the realms!
Clearly you're missing something important in what that person did. Pasting the story again wasn't meant to circumvent the rules! It was because the story needed, needed, very badly to be read not once, but twice! Because otherwise, you would have missed the immensity and depth of its meaning.
There's little else I can say, Shadow, to express my regret at your obvious lack of understanding of the higher arts of literature. But rest assured, you'll get your just desserts.
