So... hi, it's been a while. As you may know, I have been absent from this site for a while. This is due to many matters which have been keeping me busy. Those who I usually communicate with through Skype will also have noticed my absence, that is due to just one issue of not having any computer protection on the computer with my Skype account on (sorry to disappoint Ugugg, but I'm not dead). Now I could always have added Skype to my other laptop, but having Skype tends to slow things down and I did not want it interfering with any of the recording equipment on my other laptop. Recording equipment which has finally offered results... uploaded results.
I present to you the very first three episodes of the Grin Brothers: Grin Brothers PSABR Part 1-Here comes a new challenger, Grin Brothers PSABR Part 2-Barrels, and Grin Brothers PSABR Part 3-Calypso thanks you for watching... and I have just realised that my brother missed out the 2nd 'S' in the title of PSASBR... go us!
So to the point, me and my younger brother have started up our own Youtube channel known as the Grin Brothers. We intend to record ourselves playing through and conversing on various video games, sometimes they'll be short episodes wherein we play multiplayer parts of the games, other times it'll be the playthrough of the entire main campaign. For now we're still sorting things out, while we've recorded a fairly large backlog of short videos as well as two full length campaigns of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Little Big Planet 2 we still need to get them all properly edited and what not. We did however have videos of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale recorded and edited already, the very first ones we did in order to test out our recording equipment, and so we decided to upload them just so we can get things started. I feel that both of us have improved greatly over the course of recording our other videos, there is apparently a big contrast in quality of these first three videos compared to the end of out two long playthroughs. So yeah, while it'll be a while until the other videos are uploaded, I hope you'll enjoy these first three for now and I'll be sure to inform everyone when videos will begin a consistent upload pattern.
Now I could just end it here, simply using this blog post to announce the upload of these videos but I might as well discuss some fanfiction related matters and my presence of Fimfiction. I still have a lot of work ahead of me but I shall be trying to make a comeback on this site in terms of making weekly blog updates again. There are still more episode reviews to do as well as a couple of other topics I'd like to cover. We've got a long time until season 5 pops up, as well as a while until I can present to you some more pony writing, but for now I'll see what I can do in terms of blog posts.
First off, in regards to The Shy Knight and the Rainbow Princess, it will still be a while until the fanfic resumes updating. I've decided to put various other fanfics above it in terms of priority but I will inform you that the fanfic will update once more before the end of the year. I'd say around October-November but if all goes well, it could happen in September (it unlikely will though, things never go how I plan). For this reason I shall be officially placing the fanfic on hiatus status until I resume writing and uploading for it later in the year.
As for the fanfics taking priority over them, these include my Super Smash Bros fanfiction, Smashing Reactions, another planned Super Smash Bros fanfic called Thank You For Giving Me A Reason that I hope to release upon the release of Super Smash Bros for Wii U, and resuming work on the My Little Pony collab with NintendoGal; Openly Secret Date. For this later one I need to have access to Skype, but I'm sure I'll get that sorted out this month. Within this month then I shall be focusing on my SSB works.
So yeah, it's a very loose layout of things but as my plans tend to go awry, having everything rather undetermined is for the best. Overall in the realms of fanfiction, these are the only four projects I shall be working on (as tempting as writing the SweetieSpike Christmas one-shot idea I had last year is or attempting various one-shot fanfic ideas I've had for the SSB section). Along with these fanfic ideas I shall of course be hard at work alongside my younger brother to get Grin Brothers uploading at a more consistent pace. As I hope to one day be able to earn at least a partial living from it, I'm hoping things will turn out well and that you'll all give it a look-see both now and in future when the other, better videos begin uploading. I hope to resume weekly blog posts next week so I'll see you then; cheerio for now my readers and followers and I hope you've enjoyed this update.

Well I have more or less been in long absence of this website as well and pretty much the fandom itself. Oh I have been watching the show, but I wanted take a break from the fandom mostly due to keeping myself busy since I do need to organize my life a lot better. It's gonna take a while for things to get back on track, but there always other priorities to come first. I'm only back to check my large number of updates and I do plan to make a full return here and other websites as well.
I subscribed to your Grin Brothers channel too, yeah I felt like I needed to be entertained by two english guys playing games. :p
Anyways, it's nice to have you back mate and take the time you need to work around your computer issues. X)
