Month of Our Equestria 2 · 2:39am Jul 2nd, 2014
It's happening.
Way back in October, I wrote my way through the Month of Our Equestria, churning out nearly 30,000 words of my lesser-known crossover in thirty days, no small feat for a notoriously slow writer such as myself. This month I'm upping the challenge, not by the word count, but in the sense that I have a job now and keep more regular (if irregular) hours. Of course, the true goal isn't the word count, but to bring back some of the fun and free-spiritedness that I occasionally lose in a hobby that sometimes feels like a chore. Writing should never be a chore. Writing is life. For me, cranking chapters out fast without holding back the flow is part of how I recapture that.
I won't only be working on Our Equestria this time, of course; I have other things to do, including one saucy little number that I'm hoping to put the finishing touches on this week. The results will be cumulative, rather than focused on one story. Still, OE will be the main focus. What I'm really itching for is getting back to writing giant robot battles, since I've been teasing the battle with Enemy for so long that not having written it yet is starting to grind on me. With most of the exposition out of the way and the space between fights growing shorter, I'm hoping to match my old record of story progression even with the new restraints. Last time, I managed to finish three arcs and battles during that month: Scootaloo vs Bullwhip, Diamond Tiara vs Cricket, and Peachy Pie vs Dream. The goal for this round:
Enemy.
Fireball.
Geode.

Don't worry, you're still not as slow a writer as I am. And whenever I do update frequently, I ruin the quality of the most viewed of my stories.
