Chapter 25 is underway · 2:17am Jul 2nd, 2014
I realise many here do not follow my tumblr, so I'll relay the update here.
Chapter 25 has passed initial planning and layouts. As such it is now into the first draft stage, where about...hmm...maybe a third of it's been completed as of today. So things are proceeding quite excellently for such a late chapter in the story. I can't offer a date, but I'll be sure to keep you aware of it. No, there's no delay. I know FimFic is forever wondering about that sort of thing because of time between updates. Rest assured, it'll come before long. :)
Also, a lovely thanks to the little spike of new readers lately. The numbers continue to...amaze me. When I think of that amount of people as a group I tend to get a little taken aback.

Well with how much of time this has taken out of my life, I rather have it late and right that early and poor. Though after "Defying Gravity" I am right anxious over what happens next, I am both expecting this to fall apart, but at the same time everthing to go better then expected. (something this story has done form chapter one, with things going horribly wrong, but being better that if nothing had happened at all)
Just keep at it, it's not like were lacking in F:E fan fictions to read, though few can count themselves among the big five, so ya, do what youve been dong, and we with throw 200 year old plastic flowers your way.
I think this is probably my favorite FoE story. Don't get me wrong the original, PH, and several other stories are great but I don't like how grand the adventures get. After awhile it seems like the heroes are too powerful for the wasteland to be a threat in itself anymore. Murky still manages to have a grand adventure while still feeling small and helpless vs. the wasteland.
I wish FoE had focused just a bit more on Littlepip overcoming the wasteland, as she seemed to overcome what ponies had struggled with for daily survival pretty easily. While that is similar to how Fallout3 plays it seems to diminish the threat of such a hostile environment.
Good to hear things are progressing so nicely. I actually know at least one person I've told of the story who's interested, but prefers to read complete stories. You may still get new readers yet, even after submitting that last chapter!
2252183 I'm definitely someone who won't start reading this fic until it is completed. I have a limited time to read and have been burned by too many fics that no longer receive updates to want to start another one. Besides there are plenty of other Fallout fics for me to read in the meantime. However, I'm definitely going to put this fic at the top of my to read list once it is done.
2252249 I can understand that sentiment. I think anyone who's read a decent amount of fanfic has been there at least once. Still, do put MN7 on your "Read Later". Fuzzy has been very good about keeping up the pace so far and he's in the home stretch, so I'm fairly confident this fic will actually get a proper ending!
