An Apology · 4:35pm Jun 24th, 2014
I doubt many people will read this, considering the broken promises that are The Curse of the Wolf Pony and One Honest Mare unfinished, but I owe you folks who are still paying attention an apology.
I despise excuses, and I would like to think this is an explanation of my failings as I writer instead of an excuse, but take it as you will. Basically, I only just learned how to plan a story. Until now, all I wrote were essays (so many essays) and flash fiction. These require different planning than short stories or novels, and I never realized this. Now I know that you basically need to plan two stories when writing fiction length longer than flash, one for the protagonists and one for the antagonists. Boy, did I feel silly when I realized this was from where all my trouble finishing these stories came.
So, I apologize. You deserved a better writer, rather than putting your hopes in me. As such, I will not be posting on this site until I properly plan and finish both The Curse of the Wolf Pony andOne Honest Mare.
So, until I'm worthy of your confidence,
Taxus
Ps. I'm sorry if that link ruined the contrite tone of this post, I really can't help being a goofy fucker

Dude, we understand. No one on this site is an accomplished author. Even the really talented guys like Short Skirts, Obselesence, Georg, and bad_seed_72 are just amateurs, trying their best. The mere fact that I remember you means that you have the initial skills. That you are working to improve leaves me giddy to think what the stories will look like when they finish.
Take your time, get better, and come back ready to kick ass.
I fully understand you, Taxus. Believe me, if you ask any one of my followers they'll say the same about me.
You're a talented, creative author to me, if that's of any meaning to you.

2230599 Thank you both for the words of encouragement. I wouldn't be so hard on myself if I didn't take commitments, even implied ones, so seriously, so it's nice to hear words of understanding. Very much appreciated.
