Two new stories were submitted today, both write-off entries. I have no intention of sending either off to EqD, as these are the entries I am least pleased with. I think they both turned out fine, but His Other Self will require an overhaul to get up-to-snuff, and I Dream In Notes was frustrating to work on. I do hope you enjoy them, however. Tomorrow I'll be posting the first 2 chapters of Hunt and Toll. I planned on waiting for the EqD response, but their post queue is actually much shorter than I thought it was, which means if I don't submit to FimFic as soon as I get a confirmation (assuming I do, of course), then a lot of readers from EqD will be linked to a story that doesn't exist yet!

Hunt and Toll rough draft complete

I honestly have no idea how I got this whole thing out so fast. I just felt like writing tonight and cranked out about 4000 words in 3 hours. Not very fast for some writers, but unheard of for me. As of now, it sits at 12600 words, though I feel like that number might go down a wee bit. Who knows, though?

I'm feeling pretty good right now. I just got through the most difficult part of my story. It's not quite ready for reviewing yet, but I'm so much further along than I was a week ago.

I tried something out in hopes it would help me write more, and it turns out it was just what I needed. I started a tumblr blog on which I plan to write a short every day. You can find it at crumbsofipp.tumblr.com

Woo hoo!

EDIT: June 7th, at 9,900 words. Two scenes left. So close I can taste it. Expecting fic to round out at about 12,000 words. Much happier with that than 10,000.

EDIT #2: June 11th, at 12,033 words. One scene left!!! I must be the slowest writer in the entire world.

EDIT #3: June 12th, at 13,215 words. Half of a scene and minor touch-ups remain. I can't believe I'm about to finish [the rough draft of] this stupid thing.
