Everfree Northwest, the MLP convention with the most awesome fanfiction track anywhere[1], is hosting another online panel on how to write more good better. This one's on "Character" — covering a broad variety of topics on how to make your ponies more dynamic and avoid common characterization pitfalls. I'll be joining fandom superstar Pen Stroke, fellow EFNW staffer Piquo Pie, and author/voice-actress CKat_Myla.

[1] That isn't what I'm officially supposed to say. I'm encouraged to mention our full weekend of writing programming — a dozen different fanfiction panels and competitions and workshops — and how last year's Fanfiction Social was standing-room-only at times. I can mention the writing competition EFNW sponsored right here on FIMFic, and the multiple, free online panels we've done on improving your writing (this is the third in a series). I can tell you how seriously Everfree takes fanfic, and how you've only got one week left to preregister and lock in your con appearance, so go buy your tickets and make your plans to be in Seattle on July 4 weekend. But no, instead I'm going to go off-script and talk smack about other cons who don't devote as much effort to fanfiction folk as EFNW does.
(*ahem*) In my opinion they are of lesser quality and you should come to our convention instead of theirs.
