A Question For Everyone... Plus Teaser Art!

Hello! I am alive, in case you were wondering. How have y'all been? Good? Good! Okay, now that that's all out of the way, time to get down to business.

I was curious about what you prefer as a reader. Do you like shorter, 1-scene chapters? Or do you like longer, multi-scene chapters? I guess we can say short chapters being, let's say 1-2k words, and longer being 4-5k or more words. I've always preferred longer chapters, and I'll write longer chapters if it feels best for the story, but I'd still love your opinions!

Also, a quick update on what I've been up to: besides being extremely busy cleaning an entire house, and filling some of my free time on gaming, I have actually been doing planning for my next story. It's not a one-shot like my previous two, so it's going to take quite a while before it's complete. The problem I will probably run into is getting this great idea in my head translated correctly onto paper (or text document). We'll see how it goes! Here's a quick little piece of art for it:
