School is over and I should now have the summer for myself. Finally I can get back to writing Friendship is Aura! I've already started on chapter 8, so hopefully I'll have it done and uploaded within the next few days.

I actually had a small idea for the next chapter, but I think I should discuss it with you guys a bit first. As most of you should know from my author's notes, chapter 8 will involve Lucario hearing some strange news from Canterlot. Thinking over how he should receive the news, I got the idea of making an actual newspaper article to feature in the chapter. The newspaper may or may not even be a reference to another certain pony-themed newspaper some of you may know of.

However, there are somethings I'm uncertain of for the moment:

1) The guys I'm referencing may not want me to make and use a newpaper that references them without first giving their permission. I've already sent a message to ask them, but I'm unsure if they'll accept or even answer the message in the first place.

2) If I'm going to feature said newspaper in the story, I can do it in two different ways. Either I simply put in a link to the page where the paper is uploaded (like deviantART), or I can include the image in the actual story page. However, I've noticed that pretty much nobody posts images in their stories (Derpy's Diary by Obselescence being the only exception from what I can remember). I briefly asked the chatroom about it and it seems that some people really dislike it when you do that. It's true that posting random images in the stories can be annoying, but the newpaper actually drives the plot forward. What do you guys think? Is it still a no-can-do? I've actually already finished the newspaper article, but I'm keeping it under wraps until I get a word from the other guys. But maybe I don't need to ask them in the first place? I don't know...

P.S: Dragon's Dogma is AWESOME! If you guys are looking for a great and long action RPG, this could be the game for you (unless you already spent your money on Diablo III).
