You know that feel where you get up thinking "I'm going to get stuff done today," only to end up completely distracted by something?
That's been me this past week or so. I've bee wanting to get this chapter of 'A Blouse Unbuttoned' finished and out for a while now, but it was one of those awkward transitory chapters that doesn't necessarily make you feel the greatest in writing, but it has to be done. The whole scene was kind of awkward to write... So of course, being the spastic twit that I am, I pretty much went "Oooh! Shiny!" at every bloody opportunity, and ended up playing video games. It's like, I WANTED to write, I just didn't want to do it right then.
These last few days were particularly bad. I got to the point where I had the options of playing video games or writing, and always chose the games. It was so bad that I actually had to come up with a method to decide which game to play. Roll six d20 [20 sided die]. If the sum of the six rolls are even, I was to play Shadowrun Returns [a pretty awesome game in my opinion; story has me riveted]. If the sum was odd, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, because addictive cart racing and nostalgia out the wazoo.
At least I finally managed to get the chapter finished.You can probably expect to see it tonight or tomorrow if ReFro's available.

I honestly feel the way about this one chapter I'm working on right now in my own story. Now it's more exposition, introducing a few characters and so on. I've pretty much got the fight scenes planned out in my head and every dramatic moment down to the last detail, but I cant just finish this one chapter to get to that point! It's really frustrating

This weekend I was going to:
1: Clean up around the house, especially kitchen.
2: Put all those pop cans I have in the electric can crusher and get them ready for the recycler.
3: Clear out my old car and arrange to have it taken to the scrap yard.
4: Enjoy video games
What I ACHIEVED:
1: Did not get out of bed till nearly 3PM Saturday.
2: Nothing.
3: Repeat on Sunday.
