So, for the entire of season four, i was really, really worried that there wouldn't be a good song. I mean, I loved Apples to the Core, but that was all we got (in my opinion) when it came to songs with any sort of decency. There were some short, fun little snippets that were sort of like songetts, like Make a Wish its Your Birthday, but that one hardly qualified as an actual song to me.
Then this happened.

And then it was freaking amazing. Everything about this song is perfect, and the climactic ending and big band feel is just wonderful.
Also, that acoustic guitar during the chorus. It is my waifu.
Unpopular opinion inbound.
Luna's voice was a bit of a letdown to me personally. Not bad though, but I guess I shouldn't have expected anything magnificent after Children of the Night.
The whole finale was awesome. Also, the battle was...surprising. I mean, that was close to some Dragonball Z level stuff, and the entire first episode was pretty dark.
All in all, I enjoyed it greatly.

Yes, I am quite aware it is fan-made. What I meant was that after watching that lovely piece of animation, I immediately thought ''maybe she sounds like that in the show too''. I let myself become a little hyped. My fault completely.
And like I said, I don't think Luna's voice was bad. In fact it was pretty good, just not what I expected.

2100164 I was also rather let down by Luna's voice, but that's only because it was put next to the singing voices of Celestia, Cadance, and Twilight Sparkle, to which her range isn't nearly as impressive.
I was particularly mesmerized by the animation, especially it's lip-smacking brilliant, stellar fluidity in execution.
Gorgeous... and at least this wasn't "MLP The Musical" like Season 3's finale.
I can barely remember it after only hearing it once and not playing it again afterward, but I guess I'll take your word on it being all you've said.

I honestly thought the three princesses singing to Twilight was hilarious, since it literally didn't add anything to the story of the episode. Twilight still felt useless and downtrodden afterwards, so the song changed nothing.
Oh, and it was basically just a pretty easy of saying "shot the fuck up, Twilight, and wait your Laurendamned turn.
