Review of Season 4 and it's finale · 6:28pm May 10th, 2014
Season 4, or as I like to call it, "Proof the writers follow my fics", is finally over, and what a season it was. Sure, the breezie episode was garbage, but over all, it was great and had some of my favorite episodes. Everything from Rainbow going on an adventure with Darring Doo (ripped off from Chaotic Harmony), Applebloom playing with alchemy (Chaotic Harmony), Sweetie showing a possible talent in magic (Chaotic Harmony), and Scootaloo building stuff, to Discord swapping Twilight's and Cadence's manes (Chaptic Harmony, but with Twilight and Dashie).
Then there was that finale, aka Friendship is Dragonball. We have Tirek's triumphant return to the MLP universe. After learning how to steal magic from Xander (
), he goes around stealing ponies' magic, causing the color in their eyes to fade (Into the Black) and their cutie marks to vanish. What's awesome, is that only the moon on Luna vanished, leaving the dark patch. Why's that cool you ask? Because that's how it is in Dawn Shield. It's not a part of her cutie mark, but it IS there for a reason.
Anyway, to prevent Tirek from getting the princesses power, the give it to Twilight who then goes all Super Saiyan on his ass.
This finale was, and I can't believe I'm saying it, even better than season 2's. All in all, this has been my favorite season so far and I can't wait for season 5.
All I could think about this season was your story "Chaotic Harmony"...
BTW, I have read Chaotic harmony four times, and am going to read it a fifth time once it is cleaned up!
Honestly, this is another time your stories proved to be somewhat prophetic, And he is like rip off of Xander, (and leaving tartarus during Cerberus' absence...) this is crazy, Could how is that you still hadn't won main prizes in all world's loteries with such abilities. (or you have contacts in hasbro)
2096845 Well, in Chaotic Harmony, Cerberus' left because Solaris escaped. He was pursuing him until Twilight took him back. Though it is interesting that Cerberus played a role in it at all.
and this episode also prove eternal mlp question. apparently eyes are sign of magic, (now all unicorn OS's have to have their magic glow the came colour as eyes. but shining dosn't know that)
Indeed, when the eyecolors faded I was thinking "hmm, thats familiar"
Well, I think that if the writers read fanfics and incorporate their ideas its a sign of respect towards the fans, but asside a little wink they cant thank us openly.
