Now if only they'd do the Smooze. With the next semester of school now done, I'll have to find a new reason to procrastinate on working on Regent. That 150 fanfic updates seems like a pretty good one.
Monarch updates with the shit finally hitting the fan, and the zebra making a pretty stupid diplomatic move. Let's not help fix the pony that controls the sun. There's no way that could lead to everyone dying.
The Itch updates with Twilight's grimdark fantasies continuing and her continuing to not seek theropy for them. Probability of [Grimdark] ending: 35%.
Exit Through Canterlot updates with Octavia fulfilling her community service and jimmies continuing to smolder over the fanfic's justice system and “Octavia's right!” comments.
The One Pony You Never Prank updates with Dash in vainly trying to escape the absurdity of a [Random] fanfic. Meanwhile, the threat of that randomness leading into a fanfic justice system grows with each passing chapter.
The Lunar Rebellion updates with more political maneuvering as the first volleys of the civil war begin.
D=S-M updates with false flags and Mane Fives not remembering friendship lessons abounding.
Necrosis updates once more with Manehatten getting nuked and begins its final decent toward a complete grimdark ending. Probability of [Grimdark] ending: >99%.
Several chapters of Bad Future Crusaders are read as not even Twilight's evil empire can escape inter-service rivalries and the redundancies that slow them down.
Possible Favorites, you're cleared for takeoff.
Of Consorts and Thestrals is cut after a chapter for some strange characterization and grammar/spelling.
Everypony Talks is favorited for its hilarious over-the-top plot.
It's very rare for a Tyrantlestia story to catch my eye these days after Lines and Webs, but Eternal Devotion manages to do so, even with it's not-so-good rating ratio. It helps that it has “evil!Twilight” or, at least, “StockholmSyndrome!Twilight” in it.
The oneshots have returned, and they're out for blood!
My trek through /mlp/'s Fimfiction thread finally pays off with Pinkie Plural, which, while being another “mirror pool” Pinkiecide oneshot, still does it much better than many of the other ones I've read.
The Conquerors gives a very unique take on the “griffon-pony” war fic genre by showing what happens to the griffons after they're defeated—from the perspective of a child.
I don't always read about the glory of the Imperium and the majesty of the Immortal God-Emperor, but when I do, it's stories like The Lone Korpsmen that aren't just pointless “humanity fucks over ponies” grimdark circlejerks.
And that's all I read for the day.
