The Code Series - Emerald Flare, Code of Dissonance, and Unrealized Projects

Continuing with a longstanding desire to put old works to rest, this blogpost goes over the extremely scattered notes, ideas, basic plot threads and ideas that would have taken The Code's Apprentice stories to a 5 story... conclusion of sorts.

The Twilight Shadow - Basic Plot Outline Spoiler for Twilight War sequel.

As long promised, below was the full outline - along with a couple of half-finished scenes and a big prologue blurb - for The Twilight Shadow, the Penultimate "Twilight Struggle" story, and sequel to The Twilight War. These are mostly short blurbs, along with chapter names, and a general outline of the final set of events. I have other notes, but they're extremely rambly, and not terribly well

    Looking Back

Been a long time, hasn't it?

I know a lot of you have probably moved on, but I figured I at least owed it to the longtime followers - and continued readers - to finally check in.

    Another year passed.

So if you're wondering where I've been, here's the short version.

Living outside of a home of your own kinda sucks, and my new job is incredibly time and energy demanding.

The long version takes a bit more.

Coming Soon.... · 3:26am May 2nd, 2014

Wherein the author tries to do something that ought to be classified as impossible...

In the far southern regions of Equestria, where the rule of the Sun Princess runs thin...
There is a town under siege. Held in the iron grip of a tyrant.
Poor, desperate, and defenseless, the citizens turn to the outcasts of Equestrian society.

They come from all walks of life, each seeking something.
They are creatures from every corner of Equestria and even beyond.
And in this little town, far from the eyes of the great and powerful, seven strangers will come together for a job.
That will change their lives forever.

Coming Soon....

To a theater near you.... :trollestia:

2069089 They already made the movies. Now I'm trying to write the Fanfic.

Flim, Flam, Gilda, Trixie, Lightning Dust, Rover, and Garble?:pinkiecrazy:
looks like fun:pinkiehappy:
but still waiting for the sequel to The Two Between.

2069102 Well, Inky's still in Basic. Sooo. XD

Assholes, assholes as far as the eye can see.

So 7 Samurai but with 4 ponies, a griffon, and a diamond dog...

Cool.

2069184 And a Dragon. We mustn't forget Garble.

Oh. My. God.

Yesssssss

Hmmmm. This is actually pretty interesting. I think that I might like this actually.

This Summer...

A town is paralysed with fear...
A tyrant controls all...
And there's only one group of misfits that can help...

The Great and Magnificent Seven.

Coming soon to a fanfiction site near you.

Oh god, that was bad and I feel bad. I'm sorry, but it had to be done. :pinkiehappy:

Break out your Crayola box and color me interested.

Are you going to update this AND Dr. Negative at the same time?
Please tell me you're not halting Dr. Negative. :fluttercry:

2069987 Not halting at all. I'm just going to be writing this on the side. I'll start releasing it when it's done, hence the "Coming Soon".

Soon here being used in the Hollywood sense.

I like the look of this. I haven't seen the film, but I don't care. This looks interesting. And maybe I'll find it cheap at a bootsale this year.

2070875 The original "The 7 Samurai" is probably the superior film, but The Magnificent Seven is still an awesome movie.

Looks pretty awesome gotta say.

For some reason, I´m missing Sunset Shimmer in the picture.
Anyway, I like the concept of an interracial group of "heroes" for once.

She doesn't really fit this particular story's MO tbh. I'd thought about including her and a changeling, but went with Flim and Flam for.... interesting reasons.

2079851

It wouldn´t be a good western without one or two con artists around, right?
