They say a picture is worth 1,000 words. So how much is a video worth? Well, a lot. I know that much.
With that in mind, here is my video review of "Inspiration Manifestation," which includes a thorough analysis of the latest episode, as well as an analysis of the show in general, and includes all the classic Carts condescension and snide sarcasm that you've come to know and love.

This was awesome, although I think you were a little too harsh on the writers.
If I may play devil's advocate, I didn't have a problem with Rarity's motivation in this episode. It certainly wasn't as infuriating as how Rainbow Dash's friends treated her in the Mare-Do-Well episode or Spike in Spike at Your Service.
Rarity wasn't feeling creative. Sometimes people have an off day and are unable to fix even simple mistakes.
I did agree with your observations regarding magic, for the most part. We still don't know how it works. Do unicorns have limited magical reserves? Does a levitation spell require a certain level of concentration or energy? Maybe Twilight or Rarity couldn't have used levitation in the instances you cited because they didn't have enough magic reserves.
If the book gave Rarity limitless magical energy, it would be like giving someone infinite money. She wouldn't have to worry about depleting her magical reserves.
Those are just a few of my thoughts. Thanks again for making these awesome reviews.
2052139 Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! And you're right, we really don't know too much about how magic works. There will probably be a new episode released someday that throws all of my prior speculation out the window.
