Ok watched the most recent episode,"Trade Ya!"
It reminded me of a story I read years ago during elementary school. It involved a man who wanted to trade some fish for I believe it was a new knife. The story progressed pretty much the same as Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's journey from point A to point B. Only it was longer and involved a lot more various merchants before the fisherman finally succeeded.
Course the knife maker was stunned that the fisherman went through all the hassle of constant trading, just to obtain a new knife. The latter part of the story involved the introduction of currency, thus making the fiasco of having to trade, trade, trade to a minimal.
Course that would defeat the whole purpose of this episode if besides buying lunch, bits were used to also buy said trading products. Which would put Rainbow Dash into an even bigger pickle. How much does she have saved, if the first edition Daring Do book was expensive?
Just sayin.
